Thanks again guys for the kind words :) Had a bit of play about with the fuse label today. I always throught the labels on the semi-heroes were cheap paper/vinyl copies of the hero foil labels but after studying photos of the ray pack and #6 it seems as though these too had a clear film over the top...

Everything looks amazing!!! Did you texture the shell, or was that part of the mold? I stippled some thickened acrylic paint onto the master before moulding to replicate the texture so its on every cast. Also got my Alice frame painted up and straps/pad added. No primer ;) Funny, I've got some LC-2...

Glad you're enjoying it so far :) Managed to get a few more bits done during a few late nights in the workshop. All main parts now painted and bolted to the shell, all elbows and fittings attached and I've started to add the tubing. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a337/nick-a-tron/Mobile%20Uploads...

Flawless work Chris as always. Got to be one of the top 5 greatest pack replicas ever built!

One question....the twisted wire around the ends of the vac tub/gearbox loom, would you mind sharing what wire you used and how you twisted it? Ive tried but cant get it looking as accurate as yours.

Got the new thinner powercell window all finished up. Took lots of wet sanding to make the seam invisible but I got there :) installed the lens too.

Couple of little bits done today. Filled in the gaps/undercuts around the PPD to match the real SH packs. I also decided my powercell window was much too wide so added some styrene to one side and begun filling the seams. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a337/nick-a-tron/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps2...

Well i already offer resin straights, the clippard elbows would be no good in resin as they are put under stress from the 1/4" hose so you need those metal. I do have moulds for the elbows with cast in caps and threads but these would need to be removed if you wanted to use real parts. Forgot i...

Thanks guys! Got the bumper painted (minus weathering) tonight so thought id have a test fit. Everything lines up perfctly :) I decided to add the metal label too.
