Looks great! One small critique...the loom runnng from the tray to the lamps is a little too thick, i have loads of the correct size loom i can send to you. Just PM me your address.

Nothing too fancy but I got the brackets mounted to the mobo. Also ordered the blue marking fluid to replicate the volguus mobo.

I thought they were 1/4x20 (m6) too Far too big. After scaling up photos and comparing to the shell mounting bolts o believe 10-32 is the correct size for the makita rig and L bracket mounting. Its also possible that the volguus used even smaller bolts for the L brackets (look back at the photo of ...

Indeed! The brackets on the semi-hero packs are attached with #10-32 pan head philips bolts. Got 200 on their way to me :)

Thanks Matt! Hmm interesting. I have often wonderd why the cables that run to the makita cup run to that tube on the frame instead (I dont think thats a battery, looks far too narrow and no silver label)....but IMO the battery plate/cups are still present on the volguus for two reasons... 1) I can j...

Thanks guys! Motherboard batch arrived today so spent tonight starting the mounting process. Thanks again guys for the kind words :) Had a bit of play about with the fuse label today. I always throught the labels on the semi-heroes were cheap paper/vinyl copies of the hero foil labels but after studying photos of the ray pack and #6 it seems as though these too had a clear film over the top...

Everything looks amazing!!! Did you texture the shell, or was that part of the mold? I stippled some thickened acrylic paint onto the master before moulding to replicate the texture so its on every cast. Also got my Alice frame painted up and straps/pad added. No primer ;) Funny, I've got some LC-2...

Glad you're enjoying it so far :) Managed to get a few more bits done during a few late nights in the workshop.
