What's wrong with using fiberglass? That's going to be the cheapest, strongest, and most accurate construction method; as for an actual gelcoat, I've always had great success with Smooth-On EpoxAcoat for the detail layer inside the mold, followed by fiberglass cloth/mesh reinforcement.

I would say it's also possible that the OMNI is satin with super bright lighting making it look a lot shinier than it really is, but it's damn near impossible to confirm or deny that aspect. Satin paint has a bit more sheen as soon as it's applied and usually needs a couple days for it to wear off....

The beamline is the 1/4" split loom running from the HGA to the tube with the elbow fitting; the vacuum hose is the 3/4" loom that connects the gearbox to the vacuum tube.

Very nice scratch-build! It's always good to see people building packs with alternate materials. If I can make two suggestions; shorten your vacuum and beamline hoses a bit (since they're a bit long), and if possible, see if you can nab an accurate Spectra strip ribbon cable from eBay - the ribbon c...

It looks like the rear grip and part of the barrel are either sanded down or wrapped in tape. The extension where the split loom connects reminds me of the ATC throwers.
