All holes on the Murray were plugged/covered when it was moulded to make the semi-heroes. You can also see the square on the ion arm under the PH25 where they put tape on to cover the whole. nick are you referring to the hero in the pictures or the semi heros have a square? Both. They put a square ...

Thanks for all there input guys. Ive decided to make the gun "Just after filming" which means it'll have some of the traits seen in Sean's photos without the melted front and missing tube etc. Here's how she's looking after a lick of paint and a few grebes added. Still needs weathering etc...

Wow that pack turned out great! That black finish looks amazing! One small gripe though...lose the brass nut on the PH25 resistor, no packs had those.

My advice would be to add that gun plate on the inside of the gun box then, that way it adds the support like the pack plate does but is out of view.

Hi jason! Just letting you know the gun track V hook isn't meant to have that plate under it, that plate i believe is to go inside the shell to support the male section of the hook.

Also different packs had different coloured tube under the beam line loom, all depends which pack you're replicating :)

First pull out the mould, came out lovely :) Just bolting and dryfitting parts on to get all the holes etc in place so I can break everything down for final clean up and painting. Getting close now to being done!

Matt's been to my workshop a few times since this thread was started. We've tweaked a few things here and there, I couldnt take his lack of N-filter holes any more so did them myself while his back was turned and i placed a strip of scotch tape on the filter too but that lasted about 3 seconds befor...

Very nice! Youll find the weathering gets more natural as time goes by and the pack is handled and natural dust collects etc.
