Don't forget to check out the IDW Panel! I've been hearing rumblings of Ghostbusters stuff in there, and you can always ask the guys about the comic and talk to them there at the panel or over at the booth!

It'd be great if you could, dude! The comic itself really is a solid product -- a great core title with fantastic extras in there to boot! I've already heard of a few other stores here in Australia and in the US that've got on board the 500 copy cover thing -- a lot of them are using it as promotion...

I think the only kind of crossover likely between the two is via creative teams. Tom is the lead writer on TMNT, and with any luck, I might be making a return to the characters down the track (fingers crossed).
