Talk about stuff that has nothing to do with Ghostbusters!

I was tooling around YouTube and happened upon some 80's tunes so I thought I would ask, since this is a place dedicated to something iconically 80's. Mine is without a doubt:

"We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship

For very sentimental reasons. Which 80's tune do you guys like???

Peter Piper.....without question, it was on the first cassette I ever bought and I still rock it almost weekly.

Since most of you fools have no idea how to post a youtube video (its just the part AFTER the V= that goes between the board code) I will give you a track off of the second cassette tape I ever bought (though that is arguable because I got them at the same time)

Off of The Beastie Boys Licensed to Ill, I give you, "Paul Revere"

(Which I also still rock weekly)

By default, my favorite 80's song will always be "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and The News.

However, I really enjoy this song.

"She's a Beauty"--The Tubes.

Killing Joke - Love Like Blood :D

I used to be a HUGE Lionel Richie fan in the 80s. Had ALL of his tapes.

MJ - Thriller

David Bowie (Labyrinth) - As the World Falls Down ***The wife and I had this for our first dance at our wedding reception***

And yeeeeah *hides face*
Bobby Brown - My Prerogative (Had this single on vinyl)

And I might add that when i was attending "Day Camp" (Summer Camp), I used to get the cool older kids with the loud freaking 2 foot tall boomboxes to jam out BOTH GB albums on cassette. I was nicknamed the obvious, "Ghostbuster". I didn't realize they were actually making fun of me.

This thread is old but either way, High five!

But I also love Banarama's Cruel Summer and Venus, A-Ha's Take on Me, Alessi's Savin' the Day, Ghostbusters (by Ray Parker Jr. and Run DMC), Michael Jackson's Thriller, Dirty Diana, Smooth Criminal, Billy Jean...There are so many it would be IMPOSSIBLE to name them all!
