Ideally, I want to add some knobs to these at some point, but I made these out of welding goggles that I bought at my local welder's supply. Added on the lenses from Home Depot, spray painted them, and boom...
I absolutely love these things. They're a great first time prop. This is actually the second or third pair I've made too.
I printed out the labels yesterday on a printer-friendly mailing label and cut them out using an exacto-knife. I stuck them on the goggles, and they stayed in place (some of the black ink rubbed off onto my fingers, but I actually like it, it looks weathered), but I'm wondering if I should spray something over top of the label, like a clear coat or something, so that it will stay on there permanently?
Any suggestions?
