So last year I ran across a thread somewhere that had pictures from a Cozy Coupe conversion to an Ecto and I got excited. My son was only 5-ish months old at the time but I was determined that he would have an Ecto.

Fast forward to Nov 13 and my wife buys a Step 2 car(slightly different than a Cozy Coupe, a more round roof) for $15 off a trade and sale page. The original car looked like the one posted in the album about a quarter of the way through (pink and blue). Needless to say, it didn't look quite like an Ecto. It was unseasonably warm in Nov so I started painting but it wasn't until my wife went home for two weeks for a wedding this past May that things really got going. Every night I was working on it, determined to finish it before she and my son got home. Some PVC, spray paint, decals, glue, bolts, some cheap party lights and a few broken drill bits later and I was finished.

Sadly I am military and we just moved so I'm just hoping and praying the movers haven't destroyed my creation as my son quite enjoys it. I'll be finding out on Aug 4th when they drop my stuff off. Fingers crossed.

Enjoy!

Edit: The album loaded backwards, at least it appears that way on mobile, so you'll have to start from the bottom.
