Here is some stuff Me and my brother did to make a Proton Pack for $100. A lot of dollar store stuff and foam.

You can also see how I did a lot of this at my forum "My inexpensive Proton Pack for $100 me and my brother made...

Thanks

A cool idea I used was to use 4 blinking jacolantern from the dollar store and take them apart and fasten them to the inside of your cyclatron like this.

I also put velcro under the pan so it was easily removable and I could change batteries. I also used a clear red flexable 3 ring binder that was clear and red for the red color. I cut the folder with scissors to get it to the right size.

They all blink in random order so if you turn all switches right after the other, they are random, but blink all around, kinda like the movie. The closest I could find for $4.

I also Used a strobe light from walmart as my blue cell light.

Could you post a bit more detail on what kind of strobe light you got from Wal-mart? Where'd you find it in the store, etc...

Thanks!

Yes it was in the halloween section. When I bought it they had about a hundred on the shelf next to all the halloween stuff at the front of the store.
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for posting all this... I now know to go to Wal-mart for quick lighting. I've got a box full of LED's, resistors, and other electronic toys.... But no time! :P
