I think everybody knows what I'm talking about. I have heard of a few methods, anybody find something really easy for the junction of the front handle and clear tube? Thanks! the clear tube doesn't need to fit snug in it right? I guess if you want the tip to extend etc...I guess snug enough to slide but not tight...I'm probably gonna get a resin trigger tip so it doesn't have to be metal by any means! I know mburkit said he ordered a 4 inch section of aluminum and VinC was telling me about something he found at Home Depot that was perfect but he couldn't remember exactly what it was! Looking to get away with not buying a tip converter..

I actually have the "real" engineering in the new gun plans; it's basically the clear tube, surrounded by a few rings attached to it, and those slide inside the main tube. You could probably roam Home Despot and find some stuff that nests together.

This is a pic of some front barrels I have done and you can see the difference in the converter sizes.

jpa35 makes a metal collar for the thrower if you're still looking for one. I highly recommend his work.
