I've known about this thing for a while (I think there's a site with a GB slot machine locator... I'm pretty sure that's how I found out Mystic Lake had one) but I rarely go to casinos so I'd never seen it. A couple months back I moved so I'm not too far away from it anymore, and a few weeks ago my wife and I went to check it out one night.

Unfortunately, the machine seems to be pretty popular not just with fans but with semi-serious gamblers as well. I kept stopping by to see if the machine was free but I'm pretty sure the same couple was pumping money into it the entire time I was there. I was disappointed I didn't get to play, but it was cool to see it at least... I'll have to go back some time and hope it's not already taken again.

On the bright side, my wife and I both ended up walking out with some winnings... Not much, but enough to cover our dinner and gas at least.

The Ghostbusters slots are now pretty old to slot machine standards. You shouldn't have a problem finding them at most casinos out there. Certainly Mystic and Treasure Island have them.. I think even Little Six has one.

In another year or two, they'll start to be replaced by something else.

I found the locator I mentioned...

Unfortunately, it looks like the thing only points out the closest machine to whatever location you put in, rather than just telling you where all of them are. As far as I can tell, the Treasure Island near Hastings (is that the only one in the state?) doesn't have one. It tells me to go to Mystic instead.

I've seen it at Treasure Island.

Well then, maybe your theory is correct, and the locator website hasn't been updated with new locations because the machines are old now by slot machine standards. Either way, I hope to play it at some point. I'd be sad if they disappeared before I got a chance.
