Hey Y'all

Sandman from the south reporting in. Any resident Kentucky busters can post here and say "whazzup"!

I might as well plug the Louisville GBs while I'm at it. Been a member for awhile only been to one group outing. Hopefully I would be able to change that and go "busting" some more.

All of us from a con awhile back...I'm the one in the middle with the grey uniform...

whazzuup!!!

i am a GB form Franklin, KY. i am no stranger to Louisville, i go there twice a year. I was there in the summer for that zombie flick "Daed Moon Rising". had a blast.

glad to know that there are other Kentucky GB's out there than my group and myself. a lot of people dont know it, but my hometown was Annie Potts' (aka Janine Melnitz) hometown, too. ^_^. lol.

Sonic: Hey man, its been a while. Weve been out of the GB loop for a while.. I'll send you an event list, see if theres anything youd be interested in doing.

Ghostnerd: I work with a girl who did the makeup/visual effects for Dead Moon Rising... i wish i could have been in it as well. If youre ever in the area, feel free to join up as well.

Im Brandon ; I live in Carlisle....pretty close to Paris and Lexington. Should I submit and application to join that Louisville Ghostbusters thing. That rocks!!!! Im 22 BTW. Been a fan since I was born!

Hey cool, can you make it to Gen Con Indy this year? I believe the Louisville Ghostbusters are planning to go this year, myself included. It would be great seeing more Bluegrass Busters in person!

Hey y'all! Ghostnerd here again. I just saw this post and totally forgot that I had posted on here over 2 years ago! amazing how fast time flies, huh?

so anyway, I am still a KY GB, only I am with the Western Kentucky Ghostbusters now, we work around Western Kentucky University's campus, and the surrounding area. I still go to Franklin occasionally, but I live in Bowling Green now, which is just a 20 minute drive between the two.

Hello all... Greg here,
It's great to know someone from the Bluegrass area in to this. I did my first pack for a makeshift Halloween costume then got hooked from the attention it got downtown. I live in Lexington and would like to know if there is a faction based in Lexington? I would like to hear from everyone and maybe get together for some conversation about costume tips or something... or at least add me as a friend.

It all started for me when I was wanting to get in a costume contest at my high school graduation lock-in. Different parts of the school was a certain city in the USA, and you had to dress up as something that goes with a city. So i thought: New York City + Ghostbuster= first place. so my dad and I bought a flight suit, mom printed out the patches, and i wore my Extreme Ghostbusters toy pack. Sadly, I only got 3rd place, only because Kenny Perry's wife was the judge (surely all the KYians know who he is), and her daughter was in the contest as a Vegas showgirl, she gave her 2nd place, and made one of my friends, who was a geeky tourist first. *sigh* can you say RIGGED?! lol. so...yeah.

then while I was in college, my parents and I started working on the pack. We got the pack done in a couple of nights, but it took us forever to figure out how to go about making the gun. Long story short: got it finshed, got to suit up with my fellow Western Kentucky Ghostbusters on this past Halloween and kicked major ass! lol. ^_^

yeah, he was my other RA. I had the luck of having both RA's on the floor on either side of me. lol. ^_^ he was the one who told me about GBfans (back when it was GBprops), and about the Freddy vs. Ghostbusters movie. lol. how's he doing?

Glad to see another Kentucky buster!

Hopefully more come out of the woodworks. A state-wide gathering of some sort (Even if its just for a hamburger) at some sort of a central location would be awesome

. More awesome, though, would be greater numbers of us.
