When I first started working with my CNC, some of the first codes that I created were for a ghost trap. After a year without doing anything with these codes, I decided that it’s time to revisit them, update them, and get cracking with these new ghost traps.

I plan on making them out of plastic and aluminum which is a perfect combination to speed up fabrication and to decrease weight.

Once completed, I’ll make many of these and put them for sale.

Here’s what I have so far.

I had some difficulties with the code for the plastic lower plates, but I’ll use my aluminum plates to illustrate how it’s all going to be put together.

I used double sided tape to put the plates together to see what it all looks like.

Next, I’m going to mill the aluminum side panels, and possibly the “bed” brackets

Thank you guys for the complements.

I was able to milled the side panels and the "floor" of the trap, but I like to complete more this week before I post new pictures.

Here are pictures of the parts that were completed this week.

The code for the lower plates was corrected and the aluminum plates were completed.

Here’s a look at what it looks like so far without locking them in place with the trap.

The next code will be for the battery cover and the trap handle.

Thank you all that are following this thread and I look forward to completing this trap so I can start providing them to the community.

Will these be a limited run or something you will continue to offer?

I'm not sure yet. Possibly a limited run depending on how past I can fabricate them.

I'm trying to design them to make it easy for anyone to put together since it will be mostly made with aluminum parts, specially the inner cartridge. Lets' hope that it comes out like I have it planned.

Good deal :)

I have a couple of updates to share and hope to post them this week.

I have been looking at the current trap plans and not 100% sure if the size for the battery cover is correct. If anyone has the height and the width for both GB1 and GB 2 traps I would appreciate it.

I'll be watching this thread with a close eye. Looks like it's coming along nicely.

If you ever start selling them. I'm in if I can afford it! Looking forward to seeing more soon. It looks amazing. Great job!

Man, what don't you make? You need to get some worker bees to help you keep up! Sweet looking build!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have many updates for this build and I'm hoping to post pictures tomorrow. The battery cover is near completion but I'm not 100% happy with it, so I'll be making modifications to it.

Very nice! I love the milled sections in the side walls underneath the aluminum plates. Is that strictly for weight savings, or are they in part to allow for bolts?

It looks like the rear walk has one of the lower holes for the spring loaded bumpers on the left, but not one on the right?

Very interested in this kit!

I'm really gonna want one of these... Already been putting cash aside slowly now since the first post! Everything else I've gotten from you has been beyond expectations.

I'd love to see more or find out how to get my hands on one of these. I'm just starting to compile my outfit and want to get the trap asap.
