More transport case work as previously stated from my meter topic,

viewtopic.php?t=30659

This is more of a military case I acquired from a ex marine friend of mine.

It is crush, water, presure proof so no chance of damage. It is still a WIP I still need to finish the labels I'd like a few warning labels for the exterior I'm just having no luck finding someone good with design. I also need to order the pick and pluck foam for the inside.

The peddles will mount to the top half of the box via foam cut spaces and Velcro.

I had to repaint the box from the OD green cause I wanted a uniform group for my cases to match that and they had spray paint for ship numbers on the sides so I went with a truck bed texture coat for its durability.
I will also be doing this for my large equipment case and my pack case.

Anyways onto the pics!

As you can see the trap fits nicely even without foam and enough room for two at that.

Small recent alteration as a suggestion from a friend and member of algb bobert

Suggestions and comments welcomed!

Looks like a smaller version of the cases our ICBM electronics drawers come in (yay 60s-era equipment...). Very nice!

Close I do have some of those tho that open and have slide drawers. These were dry medical transport boxes so mostly gauze and tape were in these.

i always imagine cutting foam for these types of cases has to be the most nerve wracking thing to do, and then to get it nice and crisp has to be even more aggravating.

so, when they come out looking as great as this is i envy the work.

Honestly it's not bad of you get an electric carving knife and a piece of chalk just trace what your item is and go to town, just think jigsaw and thin wood.
