I am in the process of getting ready to paint one of my RGB ghost traps and I noticed that the pedal is a rubber like material, is there anything I do to paint it and make sure the paint doesnt become tacky?

Using paint made for plastic would be a good start. Priming with plastic primer will also help.

"Boy this equipment's heavy..."
What color are you trying to make it? Plasti-Dip works well on rubber types of materials. There is a spray on version that comes in black.

I had just tried the plastic primer I just have to wait for it to dry and see how it comes out, but thank you both for the suggestions!
