My board fits along the side of the gun body and hangs from the LED bar graph. Wiring to the rest of the lights is designed to take up a minimal amount of space. Available lightbar colors are amber, and yellow. If you want some other color, or combination of colors PM me and I will see what I can do.

ImageImage
Some features of my design:
* There is no soldering required in the installation.
* It is designed to run a pack light kit off of the same power supply.
* It has an optional boot-up sequence, and wipe sequences for the bar graph (when firing.)
* Optional fade effect for the vent light
* There are two brightness levels for the bar graph (lower brightness conserves battery life.)

Click here to see the lights in action: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 747&hl=en#

To get a general idea of the size of the board print out this PDF: http://www.proptronix.net/pictures/ProtonGun.pdf
It will print at 1:1 scale so a cutout will be the same size as the real thing. There is a little tab that sticks out the bottom that actual boards do not have, and the LED bargraph sticks out an extra .25 inches out the top.

The price of these gun lights will be $120. Shipping through USPS First Class Mail is included free. If you want me to ship using any other method, I will charge you whatever the post office / UPS / FedEX charges me minus $5. International shipping is free also.

PM me for payment info, and in your PM include the color of the lightbar you want.

Looking for a gun box to put your lights in? The resin gun kit from irricanian is just as easy to assemble as my lights and can be found here: http://www.multimediamayhem.net/protongunkit.htm

I got this kit and yeah, you can just put the 9v in the wand, if you have both pack and gun kits the one battery can power both

Have you given further thought to having an option be having the bargraph on a ribbon. I love the kit, but i also am intent on building the extension mechanism into the gun. Id rather not try to play around and try to macgyverize it myself

I have got a version that is currently in "working prototype" status of a gun kit with the bargraph detached and a ribbon cable running to it. At the moment I have a grand total of two circuit boards of this format, and neither of them are complete. I will try to finish one tonight and post pictures, probably in a new thread.

I really do not post much on the board ( obviously by the post count....), but I am a definite supporter of proptronix's light kits. He was awesome with the communication and delivery of this custom piece. I am very pleased with the ease of assembly and I have no doubt the installation will be the same. Here are a few quick pics for those who are interested. I am sure he will post some better ones soon. Thanks again for this awesome investment.

I'm unsure if this will fit inside my gun with all the crap in there already. Would you mind giving me measurements of the board so I can mock it out of foam core first to make sure it will fit?

I have added a PDF link to my initial post of a scale drawing of the board. Since it is an odd shape, this should be a good bit easier for you than a bunch of measurements.

Hi,
New to the boards.
Are the Gun Lights and the Pack Lights still available?
I am very interested in getting the both of them.
Thanks,

I do still offer these, though my response time is not quite what it use to be due to the frequency of exams. Send me a PM and I should be able to get to it some time next week along with the others that have sent me PMs that I have not "read" yet.

What's the maximum voltage your lights can take? I ask because I'm planning to get a 12v battery pack to run all my lights and amplifier. Changing a 9v every few hours gets a little old.

Hey there, great looking kit! I'm trying to research everything and then purchase all the parts necessary for a complete pack build. I'm not too much of an electrician or builder by any means so I hope that with all the knowledge on the GBFans community that any questions or problems I run in to will have an easy fix with some direction from those who are "skilled" lol... :)

Anyways, do you offer a pack and gun sound/light kit? I'm looking at going with Exoray's Shell cast, Either MMM or ThrowingChickens proton gun cast, although with MMM you can get the complete kit, and I'd like a sound and light kit for both the pack and wand. Just wondering if you offer each one, and if yours works better with a certain build than others?! Also, if you do have them, how much in total, and would you ship to Ontario, Canada?!?

Hope to hear back soon, take care!!

I do offer both pack and gun lights. I will be offering sound very soon in the form of an adapter board to make the installation of the ReplicaProps sound board easier. Using this adapter board will eleminate the need to change out the buttons and switches.

I have one more issue to work out. Once that is fixed and I do final checks it will take about two weeks for circuit board printing and another day or so before the first couple have been soldered together. I will create a new for sale thread as soon as I have the first one put together and get some pictures of it.
