I am going to preface this feedback post with background information required to understand everything within its context.
A few weeks ago I discussed with Joe Luna over him doing a commission for me. As a result I've been collecting various parts from GB Fans sellers here off of the forum in an attempt to do it right. It's as close as possible to a 100% GB Fans community pack as I can get. So far all of the parts have been from known sellers and those still in good standing to sell. Joe has been helping me along and answering my numerous questions about parts, accuracy, etc. For everything purchased I have been using PayPal, which is par for the course on GB Fans. To save on shipping I am having as many parts as possible shipped to Joe.
That brought me to this morning. Joe messaged me asking if I had bought one of the small supply of the GB1 Ribbon Cable that was available last night and was sold out. Being one of the more elusive pieces it's obviously something that someone needs to jump on and I had missed the boat. Joe then sent me an eBay link he had found which appeared to be a legitimate cable. That brought me
this listing from “thesa1nt” for a GB1 Ribbon Cable. In the listing the cable is described as being from blackmesahero, or blkmesahero,
who has done some awesome cabling work. Joe vouched for the quality from blkmesahero. Between Joe's recommendation and after reading that in the listing and looking at the photos (while comparing the two from what my amateur eye could tell), I immediately “bought it now” and paid in full right afterwards.
At some point afterwards I had received a message from the seller which you can read here:

As can be seen, the seller was wondering why Luna's address was for the shipment and mine for the billing. This was the result of all of the purchases I had been made on GB Fans. I had neglected to change the address back to mine after using buy-it-now on eBay which is also linked to PayPal. The addresses are within my profiles on both of them and were not part of a message asking for the item to be sent to someone “unknown” to the system per se.
I explain the reason for the error in the following message:

I think I clarified it rather well. I told him to ship it to my default billing address which is the same as my own shipping address. It's important to note here that eBay doesn't require someone to have a confirmed address in order to be shipped something. You can read precisely that
here, where it states “While you're not required to ship to a confirmed address, address confirmation is useful because it provides a way for a seller to verify a buyer's identity.
We recommend against stating in your listing that you'll only ship to confirmed addresses. Since a confirmed address isn't a requirement for PayPal Seller Protection, this is an unnecessary restriction and might discourage a potential buyer.”
In summary, even if thesa1nt didn't want to ship to an unconfirmed address, he could still ship to my confirmed address since I gave it to him and clarified why Joe's address was on there.
This was the next message:

For whatever reason they did not want to sell me the item. As I noted within the following message, whoever is selling a blkmesahero ribbon cable is either obviously or very likely going to know who Joe Luna is. He's a moderator here, does commissions, and sells various ghostbuster props. After my purchase was refunded I told Joe that the seller didn't want to ship to me because his address was initially listed for shipment and not mine. I asked Joe if he could get it for me. Be bought the relisting of the ribbon cable and was summarily denied and refunded.
At this point Joe told me he had recognized the name of the seller after he sent his PayPal payment for the item. It was that of ProtonCharger. So at this point it's very clear that PC knows who Joe Luna is here on the boards. Asking why sales were being denied, I sent the following message:

Here is the response:

As was noted earlier, I already clarified why Joe's address was on the initial shipping information and I told him to please send it to me to my billing/shipping address. Again, Joe's address being listed for shipping is okay under eBay's policy as I stated earlier in this post. How ProtonCharger came up with the logic for refusing Joe's sale (with his own billing and shipping address being the same) because he was listed as my shipping address I don't know.
Being curious, I looked up ProtonCharger and found his Facebook. Here's a post of his (names have been blacked out for privacy. ProtonCharger is in red):

At some point I became a 'Shithead'. How I am a shithead and a shill in ProtonCharger's eyes I have no idea. I have very, very limited interaction with him on GB Fans and obviously never on eBay. I'm not quite sure how I can be a 'shill' for Luna if I told ProtonCharger that Joe is the one doing a commission for me. How he came to that conclusion I don't know. Luna told me at this point him and PC have issues for whatever reason.
Here is the next message I sent:

So at this point ProtonCharger has refused to sell to me even after I told him to use my shipping/billing address, something which eBay does not even require. As stated in the earlier eBay link, eBay encourages buyers to specifically mention in the listing under what terms are they willing to ship an item. Under the first listing you can see that
it's not mentioned anywhere as being a requirement. How Joe can be a 3rd party to his own attempt at purchasing the cable is unknown to me.
Here's the next message from ProtonCharger:

I guess I had taken too long to the initial message that he sent me about the address issue. Apparently if something went “wrong” (unknown how), PC's cable would be in jeopardy. If I paid for the cable isn't it technically mine at this point? He then states that my address wouldn't be on anything official for his records and Joe's would be. How's that possible, considering that he knows my address is different from Joe's which started this whole problem in the first place? Apparently he thinks because I paid for it if he were to send it to Joe something could happen. Again he cites that he denied Joe's sale because his address was a part of my first sale.
According to ProtonCharger, ANYONE that is a 3rd party in a transaction is a cause for alarm. He also states he would refuse a sale of any such kind after he relisted it.
Here's my response:

As noted in the message, it is obvious that there is no risk with any kind of prop being sent to Joe. From what I've heard about him he is an upstanding pillar of this community and obviously someone I want to associate with as a result. How is having a part being sent to Joe a risk? If anything ProtonCharger should have refused a sale to me because he doesn't know who I am. I could be someone working in conjunction with VideoBob, trendkiller, or any other slimeball who has recasted and stolen work from this community. As I said in the message there is MORE risk selling on eBay than on the GB Fans forum for that very reason.
This is the next and last message I received:

And his following post on Facebook:

I never accused him of selling on eBay so VideoBob and the like could get a hold of his parts. I told him that there is a much higher chance of that happening because the item is on eBay and that there is no risk having something sent to Luna. Quite the twist of words on his part.
In summary, ProtonCharger did not want to sell to me because he has a beef with Luna. It had nothing to do with “3rd Parties” or unconfirmed shipping addresses. It was a very negative interaction with him which is unfortunate because I know he holds a wealth of information about anything Ghostbusters.
