Is it just me or does anyone here agree slimer looks better and a bit more real in the first movie?

Yep! A way better sculpt, had much more character, and he was much more kinetic. His moment at the dining cart is a classic, he looks super soft & flexible.

The Ghostbusters 2 version, had more in common with the cartoon Slimer, was very static despite adavances in animatronics, appeared much too large, and was poorly composited into the action.
