Jon, Dustin, and I suited up and headed out to the 2008 Answers for Autism walk in Carmel, just north of Indianapolis. We had a great time hanging out with the other mascots and, most importantly, all the kids. I'd say we were a bigger hit with the parents just because of the generation gap, but it was still a good time and there were definitely lots of smiles when people realized that yes, the Ghostbusters really were there.
Some volunteer workers at the sign-up tent.
Little kids, surprisingly gentle with the equipment.
Another shot with those two.
A team participating in the walk.
A girl from another team.
A couple more volunteers.
And another volunteer.
Another team.
Dustin explains the positron glider to the Indians mascot.
And another volunteer.
At that point the batteries in my camera went dead because I forgot to put it on the charger the night before. I'd say it was a pretty successful run. This outing was just the original three, but we're starting to get enough people on the team that making more appearances with 2 or 3 members is getting easier.
