Here's a parts list for a GB2 statue of liberty controller. When building mine I already had most of the parts sitting around so I can't guarentee that all the linked parts are correct but most should be close. Screencaps can be found here: http://s136.photobucket.com/albums/q185 ... /?start=20

NES Advantage controller (duh)

2 Solderless Breadboards

I can't figure out what the white box down the side of the controller is so I had to fudge it and use two breadboards.

1 Breadboard wiring kit

All the wireing on the board can be found in one kit in the correct colors and lengths.

5mm T1 Red LED

5mm T1 White LED

3mm white/ivory LED cap

These only come in bulk as special orders so I just painted an ultrabright white LED with some white paint. The LED is bright enough to shine though it.

10 pin green edge connector

Unfortunately they changed the silkscreening on these from white to black so the linked connectors aren't 100% accurate.

14 wire rainbow ribbon cable
http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-st ... E/-/1.html
Rainbow ribbon cable is a pain to find and harder to find cheaply. I bought the 16 wire cable above and pulled off the last 2 wires. The color sequence matches up but the cable itself is about 1/3 too small as the wires aren't the right gauge.

2 14-pin ribbon cable connectors

These were a bit tough to hook up as the ribbon cable wasn't the correct gauge but with a bit of slicing I got them to work.

2 mosfets/voltage regulators

3 16-pin ICs

These can be any 16 pin integrated circuit, the ones linked above are the cheapest I could find.

1 16-pin chip holder

1 24-pin UV EPROM

These are hard to find new, the one linked above doesn't have the correct number of pins. I got an accurate chip out of an old printer I took apart.

1 FC2 Electronic Effects board

These are the original effects boards used to sequence the lights in the proton packs. The effects guy still makes and sells them to the movie industry for prop use. If you don't want to pick one up (mine cost $20) the parts list minus the board is below.

The movie prop had working lights, the white one remains steady while the red one blinks about once a second. For my prop I built a simple timer circuit from a 555 chip:

**********Timer Circuit***********

1 4.7uf Electrolytic Capacitor
2 560ohm 1/4 watt carbon resistors
1 22kohm 1/4 watt carbon resistor
1 33kohm 1/4 watt carbon resistor
1 555 timer IC

I connected everything together with nuts and bolts to ensure things won't snap off. All the components are glued into the breadboards. I connected the timer circuit to the player select switch on the controller to turn the lights on and off. My completed liberty controller can be seen in this thread: http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewtop ... =7&t=17453 Any questions about components or construction just post up and I'll do what I can to help.
