Said I'd add a voice from the republic of Ireland..
I've got
1 X Accurate Pack (waiitng on my Exoray light / sound kit) 1 Crap trap that i bought from the uk (has flashing light though, yipee!) I've got Nametags but no costume yet, still looking for decent style one at affordable price. Any suggestions of Uk place to purchase from? I'm actually heading over to Liverpool on the 19th for the Inter Milan game// Any links etc would be appreciated. Thats about it - still looking around for more bits to improve pack, make a costume and add to collection.

Hi there Peadar, from the top of my head i cant remember what the postage was from Armysurplus but it wasnt expensive quite fair really & they shipped quite quickly so thats why im going back to them to order my navy/GB2 uniform this wk I also ordered the deluxe Khaki uniform which was a very good likness to the GB1 look, i havent changed the colour since i bought it because i havent any need to so i think u should be pleased with the look of it I bought my patches from the GB props shop im hoping AJ will be re-opening it shortly but i have heard plenty of good feedback on Kattarras patches :cool : PEADAR wrote: Hasford1978 wrote: I have got a screen accurate GB1 style uniform purchased from Armysurplusforless.com with patches belt etc coming from the GBprops shop & Ghost trap (selling this on Ebay at the mo) not great just basic i wanna upgrade also buying a Proton pack from Andy to cool on the forum here Next i want a Motorola radio & Ecto goggles Im in the process now of starting my GB2 style "darker" uniform, just about to order a flightsuit for this Hi Hasford, Just saw your link and I've taken the plunge of purchasing a uniform from Armysurplusforless.com - went through with transaction and says they might be contacting me about shipping costs before it goes through fully. This year I'll be working on my costume, and a set of Ecto goggles which should serve as the "small project" that should work well as something small to cut my teeth with.
The Googles might very well be built using that PVS-5 frame you mentioned in your post here, Andy.

Makes sense to revive this thread, partly to generate new activity in the UK ghosthead population. I'm currently the proud owner of the following: - Complete Ghostbusters uniform, featuring belt, circuit board, MT-500 radio, yellow hose and spraypainted elbow pads. - Proton Pack (in need of some repairs) and Proton Gun (in the process of being replaced with a better one) - Ghost Sniffer (made from a Genuine Bacharach 303 Gas Sniffer, featuring squeeze bulb and wand) - Ecto Goggles (made from resin copy of a Isreali PVS-5 frame and PVC tubing for the lenses, featuring resin thumbscrews by gb_dan and real PVS-5 harness and face cushion). - Resin nick-a-tron Ghost Trap.

I currently own GB2 flighsuit. Although gonna change the GB2 logo to a GB1 sometime this year Uniform belt with mixture of fobs, Lifegard, Trap Holster, MMM Circuitboard Considering getting a pair of paratrooper boots, been using just a pair of eblack steel toe workman boots
Inz2nites Gigameter (I don't like to even acknowledge it) Nick-a-trons trap with MMM Pedal Ecto goggles (israeli frames)
I have a half finished TC gun and an Exoray shell...All the little bits and bobs are gathered to begin on my pack kit after 2 years of collecting (money and time gets tight for me during school term so summer is my only time I devote to this hobby)
Also hopefully going to get the SKS PKE and fit it with Ghost_Guys movie PKE Electronics (both paid for) and then Exorays Gigameter kit and lights when they are released
I'm also considering building the stethascope device Egon had in GB1, but the above listed are priorities before I consider that

Following last weekend's Collectormania, I can now revise part of my "has what" list:
- Proton Pack (Fully repaired for event, in need of some minor repairs following Collectormania but nothing near as serious as the London Parade breakages) and Proton Gun (a few last bits need to be attached, no biggy).
Additionally, I have the following in various stages of build:
- Giga Meter (Currently still in Buffer form, not sure if I'll ever convert it) - Compact Giga meter (Unconverted, but on the cards for the not-too-distant future) - PKE Meter - Stunt (Currently unbuilt) - PKE Meter - Hero (Currently unbuilt, awaiting the kit's arrival from SKS) - PKE Meter - RGB (Currently unbuilt) - Ecto Goggles V2.0 (Currently unbuit, will feature Umori's metal lenses)

I am working on completing the GB1 style uniform
Have painted elbow pads Leg hose and connector from MMM Some superb cheap key chains from ebay that I think are close to accurate Pistol belt (Not completely screen accurate but it fits up to a 44 inch waist!!) Converted RGB pack, trap and PKE RGB sniffer - Untouched!
Plans:
GBfans khaki uniform (To be ordered tonight/tomorrow) Nick-a-tron belt gizmo kit (Not sure I will get this done before halloween, need to buy it for starters) Because it is to awesome an item to pass up hopefully a matty PKE when released if I am lucky enough to buy it Ecto goggles mark 2 (First ones we're ok but found a rigid set of welding goggles.)
Only really started out with this hobby in Feb so progress is slow at mo!
