Long time lurker, rare poster, figured would be ncie to jump in with an introduction to see if terhe's anyone else here for the South East? I myself live down in Brighton - to me even london is 'tup north'. I put together a pack from scratch for Halloween last year in 2 weeks, and on a very tight budget. She's not screen accurate, but she's my baby, and built from a combination of mounting board, MDF, and homebrew electronics (as well as the mandatory blood and sweat this hobby appears to entail).

Decided to keep on expanding on the costume however and have no got myself a more accurate flightsuit (one that doesnt rid up so much!), hose, and goggles, all in preparation for this years Halloween. Even built a PKE, that's somewhere between the RGB and XGB versions. Naturally, like everyone else now I'm hooked, and desperately trying to convince others to come play!

So, anyone else from down this far?

Would love to do the london trip, but fear the logistics could be a problem. Not sure going up by train in full kit is a great idea (pretty sure London Victoria has a shoot on sight policy for suspicious packages!), and I dont fancy driving into London!

Geordi, where in brighton do you work? ) Tis a pretty cool city, I myself work up at the University of Sussex.

I work all over the south so i'm in Hove, Lewis, Burgess Hil, Shourham. every other week or so
