You're too much of a Ghostbusters geek when:

1: The main thing you notice about the article is them mispelling Stantz as Stanz.

Heh, I don't have a problem with that, I just find it hilarious that its the one thing that caught my eye.

What caught my eye was the "nearly 20 years ago" comment about the release of Ghostbusters.

A bit sloppy, as it's closer to 24 years since the film was released.

Yeah that's probably a little more important than just missing a letter in a fictional characters name. Should be "nearly 20 years since the last Ghostbusters film". Then they'd be right at least.

Either way, its still more geeky/nerdy pointing out how a fictional characters name is spelled than knowing the release date of a blockbuster movie.

We have to try and clear up the smaller pictures so we can see what Egon looks like.

I'm guessing that he looks like Harold Ramis

Hopefully they release some hi-res renders of the guys soon and hopefully when they do they won't exclude Winston. Haven't even really seen much of Winston it seems, but we haven't seen that many lvls.

I can post a larger picture (the uploaded pages are scaled down), but I can't promise great quality.

A friendly warning that Future (publisher of OXM, worldwide) often asks that scans of copyrighted material online be removed. They ask once politely, then call the lawyers.

Thanks for the warning, I haven't received any request yet.

I just wish companies would realise that tactics like that only serve to damage public opinion of them.

Well, do you see their side, too? You're giving away something they own that they're trying to sell. Imagine throwing a party, then having someone at the front door give away all your booze and snacks to people who didn't even come in the front door. To the magazine companies, it's a business, not a popularity contest.

It's generally less of a problem with older issues, but when it's currently on sale, it's a bigger deal. But it's up to each territory, so if the UK guys haven't noticed, w00t. You can get the UK edition of OXM in other countries, but it's a little tricky, so maybe they're not as concerned.
