Good pic DkiD. Jay I have not noticed any change to the figures themselves yet, but haven't done a complete check.

well the washington square ghost is WAY more orange on the original box then the best of box

venkman has more color on the box as well

They could but it wouldn't be a 100% accurate, not that I would really mind it though.

You may not mind, but you know there'd be at least a dozen whiners bitching about "They just reused the suit pieces from Ray and Egon and it's not riiiiiiiiiight!!!"

Mattel just can't win with some people.

The Minimates are near perfect I'd say. You can't expect a whole lot from them, as they're pretty simple and stylized designs. I love em!

I managed to find some of the re-released wave today. Got my Gooey Ray with Splody Stay Puft, and Courtroom Venkmen with the Square monster! They did have the Venkmen with Energized terror Dog, but I was in the air about getting ANOTHER Venkmen figure!

Plus picked up Splody Stay Puft Bank

They are really addicting! Minimates are so much fun to play around with, which you've found out obviously, haha.
The Marty and the delorean set is so awesome. I have the Toys R Us one, need to get the other one.
Sadly last I heard the Beverly Hills Cop set was canceled, it was supposed to be released last fall and I kept looking it up, eventually seeing some news about it on a minimates site. I could be wrong though, lets hope I'm wrong.

Not that I know of, but I HOPE they make one! It needs some customizing but, all in all, the BTTF DeLorean turned out pretty well.

They have straight up said the Ecto is NOT in their license agreement. For now anyway there will not be a Minimate Ecto1

Really? For a guy who was so into them at first, making the checklist, and the firehouse set, that seems like an awfully quick turnaround... What's the deal?

not sure. I own like 50 of them (GB, BTTF, etc) and I dont have any of them on my "toy" shelves. they're all in a box. the firehouse was made for my nephew, I didnt make one for myself. I'll probably give the ones that my nephew doesnt already have to him, and sell the rest. I want to sell my Palisades Army of Darkness figures too but he wants me to give them to him, surprise surprise.

They are seling "boxed sets" of the Universal monsters creech and wolfman with unique figures in them (Much like the GB boxed sets), and next year they are going to do Frankenstein and Dracula as well.

I recall someone talking about the mummy as well, but I haven't been following those releases as closely as I probably should have been. I need to find a good online source for the Creech set.

I have the regular Wolfman and Creature packs. I really want the black and white set. Unfortunately the Dracula ones aren't going to be released until 2012.

i heard the Dracula/Frankenstein sets for next year as well...guess the Mummy is a ways away then. Maybe to be paired with the Invisible Man?

currently putting Wolfman parts on Marty McFly mate and reenacting scenes from Teen Wolf

I wnt to boxed creech set because it comes with the regular and glow creech, plus the underwater guy, and the exclusive boxed set girl.
