The Ghostbusters 2 Winston Zeddemore figure is now on sale from MattyCollector.com. This figure is the first to feature a Slime Blower from Ghostbusters 2 and is one of the best figures Mattel has created to date. This figure was initially delayed from release when Mattel decided to retool the redesign. The result is a figure with a new sculpted body section that really catches all the details. No pack-in ghost, but this figure does include a very cool Tripod Ghost Trap. Need to calm some feisty phantoms? It’s a piece of green cake if you’ve got positively charged psychomagnetheric ectoplasm and the first-ever Slime Blower from Mattel! Our 6” Winston Zeddemore figure wears film-accurate gloves and features an all-new torso sculpt. And, being a buster with the talent and the tools, he’s outfitted with a tripod trap and Slime Blower.

Ordered mine with no trouble to speak off. Can't wait for Slimeblower Ray to go on sale so Winston will have a companion piece.

I got my two, one from Club ECTO 1 and the other I bought separate. I'm gonna put the head of the 2nd figure on the 4 pack Winston figure, I have plans for the headless body.

I got mine about an hour and a half after it went on sale. Smooth sailing the whole way.
I originally was going to get two, since I got an extra Ray noggin to put on one, but I only bought one. Not long ago I got a good deal on a MM Ray, so he fills the Stantz quota.
With Z on the way, I'll have MM Ray, PKE Egon, Slimed Peter, SB Winston, and Vinz. I don't think I'll get any of the other variants, but I might break down and get Peck one of these days if the price is right.
Looking forward to seeing if Matty's line for 2012 contains fewer GB variants and more characters we don't already have. If that's the case, they'll have more of my money.

Got mine this morning too. We'll see if it still takes 2 or 3 weeks like it did with Vinz.

Dang, that was fast. I wish they shipped to Ft. Worth as fast as Amarillo. Did you choose overnight shipping or something?

Just the regular UPS shipping through the sub. My figures are routed through Albuquerque to Amarillo, so they don't have to go too far out of the way thankfully.

Astro_zombie wrote: I got mine the other day. It's a good figure but, is anyone else have trouble getting the trap to stand? It's got like a nub sticking out the middle on the bottom. I can't see what the point of it is. It's actually movable. Perhaps some paint is making it stick. Just give it a bit of force to pop it loose. The tripod and the trap are two separate pieces so the trap slides up and down slightly. If the nub in the center is too far down, it's just stuck.

Heat the tripod base of the trap up. What happened to mine as well as yours is they didn't pull the trap tripod fully up. So that the center was higher up, and not poking out in the middle making it impossible to stand.
My Winston figures right eye is smaller then the left and looks molded that way. Only reason I picked up on that was because of his eye brow missing center which I fixed with paint and an over use of white paint on his eye lid.

Got mine today. One thing to do to make it more movie accurate is get the one hose to come underneath his left arm rather than all from his right arm as thats how it appears in the film.

It looks to me like whatever stamps the eye details on the sclera was misaligned. It looks like some sort of mutant lazy eye on mine. I'm going to see if Matty can send out a replacement head - fixing this myself requires a fair bit more brush precision than I'm willing to risk on a figure like this.
