The food is a bit fast food-ish, but I promise you the onion rings are great. The full menu can be found here.
Our plan is to arrive at The Varsity, by whatever means of travel you like at 7 P.M. and order our food. We need an accurate headcount to ensure we have enough space, so if you are sure you are going to commit - please reply stating CONFIRMED 1 GUEST, or however man yguests you will have.

There is a karaoke bar a block away from the hilton. The have a restaurant in the upstairs part and the bar also serves food. when we went last year we walked in to see anakin skywalker singing amish paradise. id definitely suggest it. it had good food, theres a bar, and nothing was really overpriced. at least not for atlanta.

Everything tastes good unless it came from the water.

- What types of restaurants do you like? Also what type of food.
American Food (Burgers Fries) or Italian (Pizza or Pasta).
- What sort of price range do you have?
Up to $20 per person, but goal of $10-15.
- How many people are you vouching for?
1.
We may need to figure this out early and perhaps setup a situation where everyone pays ahead of time (for food). Kinda like a ticket system... everyone puts down $20 for a $15 / meal restaraunt.. and if you have lots of drinks you pay for that seperately. Every time I have ever planned one of these things someone ends up not paying... usually because they don't realize if they just get a Soda that it still costs $2.50.. or people underpay.. etc.
I don't want to see that happen.
We also should use it to figure out how many people are going.. becasue we will need to setup with a restaraunt ahead of time. So perhaps a deadline of the Thursday / Friday night before the dinner.

^ That was kinda the reason I was suggesting the Tiki place they can accomodate large groups via reservations...as opposed to 20 people popping up at the Hard Rock or whatever. On the other hand though they are a little more pricy...but in that area I can't think of any places that aren't in about the same range, aside from fast food, or the food court by the Hyatt.
Anyway here's the website for the place, it's called Trader Vic's

Derek Not picky on food types... $25 seems like the magic amount.... at this time, 1 seat, but maybe more...

We would almost be better off having a Pizza Party some place or traveling out to the Suburbs for something cheaper.
i'm not against a room party. like i said... take-out chinese and beer... we could call it 'the last of the petty cash party' and have that annoying thompson twins song on repeat...
we could always check on conference rooms at each of our hotels and see if anyone has one big enough for our needs.
EDIT: I just checked with the Baymont Suites and they said that they have a meeting room big enough for around 35 people. just throwing out some more info.
