So I was out at a huge community yard sale this morning when I happened upon a full box (that's 36ct) of unopened GBII movie trading cards. I bought the box for a mere $5 and I'm wondering if there's any value to them for me to try re-selling them on the internet.

Mind you, the box itself is a tad worse for wear, but all the packs of cards are there and still wrapped in their original packaging with the original gum.

I saw individual packs selling on eBay for around $2 per pack.

Hey, does this gum still work?

If it did I would so make an offer. Seriously though, would 20 year old gum have any adverse effect on the cards? Not too sure how that works.

Haha, well I could open one pack and find out? Though that's one less pack you'd get in the box.

I bought 2 full boxes off evay for 12 shipped. The cards aren't effected by the gum. No real value to them. Only value they hold is how u feel about them in ur collection.

Yeah most of the local cons here in Pittsburgh you see these for .25 -.50 a pack. $5 is definitely worth it for a whole box. I nice find for your personal collection.

I guess technically I could sell the packs on ebay for $1 per pack. I'd make back 7 times more than what I spent which would be nice.

That's assuming you can sell them for $1.00 each. I've seen auctions for them close with no buyers.

Minus eBay fees, minus PayPal fees... just face it, you bought something that you're not going to profit off of even remotely the way you thought you were. You still got a good deal on something to add to your collection, but you're not going to make money off of it.
