That sucks. I think i'll just preorder from Diamond Select for the next set, considering Ray and Winston will be included in that set. I may preorder Louis from TRU, though

yeah, pretty sure that the online retailers snapped up series 1 from the TRU website, then put them on their own at mark-up...lame

So I can't go into a random TRU and buy it?

I read (it was either here or at GB.net) that the online allotment was fairly small and the majority would be in stores. The trick is finding them....there isn't a "Minimates" aisle and to get anything useful over the phone you need the SKU #.

I preorder mine through entertainment earth. cant wait for it to get here.

nothin at TRU this morning...saw some BSG mates and T2 mates roll off the truck and got excited, but the Ghostbusters didnt show.

I got an email from ToyRocket which stated that the first box set is now in stock on on it's way. I gotta say - at first I was a little leary, but not I am really looking forward to these.

when do the trucks come? once a week? if you can remember or have the time PM me and let me know when they come in off the truck.

Supposedly the first boxset (Egon, Peter, Louis, and Dana) is available as of today. Comic stores should have it in stock, I believe.

I ordered from ToyRocket, and they've said that my boxset will be shipping soon.

depends on the store. ours has trucks coming 2-3 times a week, but its always a toss-up on whats gonna be in em...I'll let ya know when they hit here of course

all i see is the 2nd series of minimates on the website for TRU, Did i already miss Series 1?

according to amazon, the first set is released on July 8th


and the 2nd set on Nov. 11th

Just got an e-mail from Toys R Us... my Slimed Peter with Slimer 2 pack is in stock and will be shipping shortly... no word on the rest of the Wave 1 TRU Exclusives... but I expect they'll all be in stock shortly.

EDIT: My order has been updating gradually all morning. All except the Egon and Library Ghost 2-pack are in stock, and I'd bet that will be too shortly.

EDIT #2: Yup, they're all in stock now, and shipping shortly. It says I should expect them between 7/7 and 7/9.

how the hell are you getting these? I checked toys r us website and it shows GB minimates series 2 (five 2-packs) available Sep 6th, I dont see anything else... where can I find minimates that are available now?

Same here, except it told me to expect them between 7/7 and 7/15. Did you choose a faster shipping?

Joe, I pre-ordered series one throught the TRU website a while back. From what I've read, the TRU.com allotment was actually fairly small so that most of the figures would be sent to the stores. The online allotment for the series 1 TRU exclusives sold out pretty fast, so they took them off the website.

Weird. I just went to TRU this morning and couldn't find 'em (can anyone who managed to order all 5 give me the item #'s, assuming they're the same instore and online?), and come home to an email from TRU.com saying that the one I did manage to order was shipping.

The store didn't seem to differentiate between lines, they just had "movie minimates".

Series 1 was previously available online, but the online allotment sold out. They will still be available in stores.

I recommend that anyone who is interested in online ordering for ease order the Series Two ones now on TRU.com. They will place a temporary hold on your card for payment, but release the funds after a few days and not charge you until they ship.

I got my series 1 four pack this after noon at my local comic book shop. They're very very cool.

They only got two packages, I reserved one that morning, and by the time I got there the other one was gone.

I checked four Toys R Us's today but no luck on their sets. I did pick up the 4 pack though.

- the closest toys r us is about 1 hour 45 min away, and they suck, so I can almost guarantee that they wont have any

- my local comic shop guy is kind of a dick and stocks his store with shit that people dont want

- therefore if I want any of these, i'll probably be forced to pay twice the retail price on ebay

joeghostbuster, when I find them at TRU (I plan to go again this weekend and/or next week) if you want I can pick up another set for you (if possible).

I'm also going downtown today to get the four-pack so can try to snag another one.

no GB mates in at my TRU this week....and now the Amazon mates are SDCC bound?! this week was a bust for me...lame

Well, as of today, all of my TRU exclusives are in the mail and on their way.

Same goes for my Series One boxset from Toyrocket.com.

All that's left is my SDCC exclusive GB2 Peter and Stay Puft and the Diamond exclusive GB2 Ray with Slimer, which should also be shipping from Toyrocket soon.

I really do highly recommend ordering from Toyrocket.com, very good service, and my orders are being filled quickly.

Same thing goes for the Wave 2 of TRU exclusives. They won't charge your card until they ship, and they seem to be shipping them before anyone has even found them in stores yet, which is nice.
