Really we just go to the walk website and sign up as a team like anyone else does and get donations from friends. We also usually attend the art walk here in Phoenix and set up a fundraising booth. At the Booksman's Store event's well be getting donations as well.

Since we're certainly more unique than most walk teams we always get in touch with the walk directors to let them know we're going to be there and if we can help in any other way. They are usually always excited to get any help they can which is how we started attending events like Diabetes Expo and Awareness Days at the ballpark to help promote them. The walks are how we started out and a great way to get involved with the community. Even last weekend at the ballpark 80's night, people were telling us they had seen us before at a charity walk. It certainly get's you out in the public eye. The more you do the more recognized you will get and people will spread the word about you and what you do. Almost all of our events we get from a word of mouth recommendation and the walks we attend now annually.
