I know its not all of you on here there are some ace people who i have had the honour of bustin ghosts with but recently there have been some gamers who just stand around doing F**K all during the game then leave and its getting on my nerves. If you dont want to play turn your Xbox off dont ruin it for others who enjoy playing the game.

Rant over :sigh:

I feel your pain. The best way I get through it is to imagine that the person I'm playing with is a young kid who doesn't know any better.

Not everyone can be a perfect online Ghostbuster, but yeah, that can get annoying quick.

In the interest of XBL GB ranting:

PLUG IN YOUR FROGDAMN MIC! Although a very experienced team doesn't need to be told what to do, n00bz must be coached to know how to beat particular maps. Strategies can get more complex than SHOOTAN DA GHOST!!!11111one We need to communicate to win. For example, if I go down during a Protection game and the nearest person to me is on goalie duty, I need to tell him to stay put so the damn crawlers don't knock the disrupter down to zilch yet again. Not to mention a quick education in how to aggro the golems AWAY from the distrupter instead of TOWARDS it.

Plus, it's an excuse to quote the movies at appropriate times.

I have met my fair share of morons while playing.

But I just wanted to let you know there is a multiplayer bug in which you cannot move your character once the multiplayer game starts. You cannot even pause and exit. You must power off the XBOX.

When you get people who don't move an inch and then eventually leave, they are probably experiencing this bug. Once they figure out they're stuck, they reset the console.

Ugh, I lost count of how many failed destruction games because all the deeteedees think its more fun to catch ghosts instead of destroying the artifacts..

Yes, I will be online again today at approx 5PM EST. Running containment missions. Assuming life doesn't get in the way.

I might just join you, tito.

But anyway, it would be different if when the other player(s) quit you still got the money you earned. By taking that away from you, it's ridiculously easy to get to the end of a campaign with one guy, then they leave, and you lose over a hundred-thousand.

Even if you don't care about the cash, it's freaking annoying. These inexperienced punks play it like Call of Duty; every man for himself, screw the rest of the team. And it doesn't work. And it's not Ghostbusters.

My biggest problem has been kids getting aggravated because i either slam dunk so fast with the slime tether, or assist them and they think i'm stealing their ghosts. Then they just start shooting me.. I have to quit the game and mark them as "avoid this player" then. (beleive i know the difference between friendly fire and someone being a dick)

I have a spreadsheet that i'm using to get the last (unglitched) achievement. I need to complete (get a Victory!) containment in every level. Except the reading room & twisted stacks which i managed this weekend.

After getting all the unglitched achievements, I was one of the ones who started playing with my mic unplugged. I was really tired of pre-teens doing nothing but yelling and not listening to me anyway. Just nicer to play unplugged.

I agree. I have my mic by my side, and will plug in if things are going ok.

You're missing "Egon's Guinea pig" BTW.

Yeah, unfortunately that's one that is glitched for me. And I've turned it in through the GB patch group, but to no avail yet. I've done the checklist muliple times (making sure that each different item had it's proper effect on at least 1 ghost), still nothing. So I'm hoping when the patch does come out this fall, it will let me get that one.

Yeah, I just googled that. It seems to be glitched for some people but not for others? That sucks man, sorry.

Right - which is something I don't really understand - how it can be glitched for some but not others. Either way, I got the short end of it and I'll admit, it's been really frustrating. GB was going to be the first video game that I got 100% of the achievements, and I can't do it because of the stupid glitches.

I'll admit that a few people have friend requested me after matches, usually the ones where we're both getting screwed over, but we still soldier through it. It's more like "We've earned this." But these days I'll end up getting a message in incomprehensible English that I'm a "noob," a "d*****bag," and more unmentionables. And it's ALWAYS because I help them out with wrangling or slime dunk. It's not like I'm using a glitch to boost my score. I'm looking at you Modern Warfare 2.

I still play online, and I'm no noob. I have a mic, and strongly promote good communication. Hit me up sometime. XBLA info below.

i like when i get noobs on my team that stand around and do nothing actually... ill take every ghoul and ghost single handed.. leaves me more to do!!! I'm currently #17 on the leaderboard due to my live account being expired. Look me up, my name is "TakeTheColtrane".. I was at #4 a while back. Desert Coffin did get alot better lol. He always played with my "team" when he first started and we taught him well LOL. I still beat his scores tho despite his #1 rank LOL.. jk, we all go back and forth with who wins the round cashwise

I wanted to do more online play since it seemed like the better and further in you got to stay alive, different stuff would happen. However all I could ever play with were kids and many sucked. I largely don't game online because my schedule of life doesn't fit with those I'd like to game with. I may try my hand at it again with DCUO.

I'm usually up for a game. Gamertag is Saborlas (I'm Saborlas EVERYWHERE! I love having a unique screenname!), I'm never getting rid of this awesome game, and I'm at around #37 worldwide.

Incidentally, did anyone else try deleting the game from their hard drive to fix the lip sync problem? Worked like a charm for me. I wager the game reads the audio right off the disc during cutscenes and installing to HD just complicates things.
