I was just wanting to see if anyone would be interested in WV Ghostbusters patches. I had a friend of draw the no ghost logo with the ghost dressed like a coal miner. I thought it would be great since WV is well known for its coal mines, plus it's a tribute to all the miners who have gave thier lives to suppoert thier families and provide our nation with power. I will try to get pics uploaded today. I will try to have a few patches made for my family and if anyone wants them just let me know after I post the finished product in the for sale section.

At the bottom of my post are two buttons. Profile and PM. Just click on Profile and you will see it. Its just a pic, a work in progress. I will try to complete it in a few days and take it to see if I can get some patches made.

I'd do it, if I wasn't busy, but you should ask one of the members to make a vector rendition of the design so the patch comes out nice and clean.

When you need to link an image, right click on it and select "Copy Image Location." Paste it into your post and slap the [img] tag around it. Golden.

Also, photobucket and flickr are your friends. :D

Anyway, I'm always up to collecting patches. Pending a cleaned up version of the logo, of course. :P

We had an idea for this logo....but we were worried people would draw the comparisons between the dead coal miners and it would look like we were busting coal miner ghosts.

I know I'm from Georgia, but that logo looks kick-butt.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the design portion of the logo is completed. I went today to talk to someone about making the patches. They will be made but it may take some time. Probably won't be ready for Halloween this year. The lady who owns the shop will be limited on what she can do this month because her father is dying of cancer. We will be praying for their family in this tough time. I could have these patches done with an online company but I want the money to go into my local ecomomy and not in the pockets of overseas companies.

Here is the finished product. Sorry it took so long but the lady who I hired to do them has been under alot of stress. Her dad just died but she still finished them for me. We will continue to keep her and her family in our prayers. I will probably be posting these in the for sale section later. Just wanted to post here first and let everyone know they were done. I only have 10 right now but more will come if there is interest for them.

Are you willing to trade patches or are you selling only?

I may be willing to trade. It just depends on how good I like the patch. I'm not a collector but maybe we can work something out.

It would be for the patch of my avatar - the Wisconsin Ghostbusters. If you're not into trading, that's OK. I might purchase one eventually.

The patch is great but I think I will pass on the trade. Not really into collecting other patches, if I start then I wont stop until I have them all lol. Thanks for the offer though.

WV is round enough that I think you could actually incorporate the "No Ghosts" logo into the shape of the state.

just a thought.

Hell yeah! This is something that has never been done before and is certainly not done to death!
