Even though it's a joke, it's kind of irritating to see everyone's avatar has been changed to Boxxy. Even my own. I don't really appreciate that. And you can say I'm "no fun" all you want.

Hey, I love my little avatar guy too, but this is totally worth it. And to correct you....not everyone's avatar was changed...

So the avatar thing was a big problem for everybody, I was trapped in a thread and needed to ban the whole time. But I don't blame AJ, because one time I banned someone and he helped me.

I just think it's kind of inappropriate for AJ to make this change JUST to troll Kingpin. And I'm sorry if that's "harshing your buzz" or whatever, but that's my tuppence.

I think its funny. though I'd appreciate it if anything was back the way its supposed to be by monday morning.

No BSJohnson, you're right. Nobody stopped to think that maybe this thing would troll someone else than Kingpin. And I know that I'm going to get some bad rap for this. Why do I sometimes feel that this website is run by, and for, the 10 same people? What about the vast majority of users who never heard of, or doesn't care, about Boxxy?

It's not a meme I'm familiar with, but I was trying to figure out the occasion, really. I even checked my calendar to make sure it hadn't lost a few months and skipped to April.

My point exactly. There's around 10 people that know the purpose of this prank. There's almost 15,000 registered users on this site. At this moment 99% of the registered users are wondering what the hell is going on. And that doesn't count the percentage of users that never heard of Boxxy before.

My complaint is not that I'm back to being Boxxy, I <3 boxxy.

My problem is the picture you chose. I just don't think it's a very flattering pose. Could you please change it to the one where she makes the duck face?

This really isn't funny. I'm sorry, but I don't follow memes; I've had too many bad experiences with hate-mongers and 4chan kids attacking my wife and I on the Internet with mean-spirited memes.

I know there's no malice in this meme, but could we please change back to our regular avatars? It's just too much of an in-joke for a very select group of members on this site to warrant messing with everyone's avatar.

I just want to say I really love this site. I would consider myself a casual visitor, I check back here every once in a while for GB action figure news and one day I'll make a nicer proton pack and this site will be very helpful. I honestly don't really know what the Boxxy thing is, how it came about and why all the avatars are now Boxxy. I'm sure though it was to mess with someone somehow and I can appreciate the humor. I like that this site doesn't take itself too seriously and allows people to pretty much say what they want and keeps the "moderation" to a minimum. I visit so many other sites that feel so restrictive I feel like I'm in the movie PCU. Anyway's keep up the good work, Thanks.

My only real complaint about this board ( always has been, always will be ) is that this is a meme-based board for tweens more concerned about the latest internet <whatever> and not much else. It's short attention span theatre in this place.

There might be some truth to that but what else are we gonna talk about? There is only so much discussion to be had about Ghostbusters. Bryan you know as well as anyone that just about everything there is to be said already exists here and has for years. I'm so glad that at least we don't get caught up in all the bs GB3 rumors like some other sites.

Man, you need to check out some rave/electronic music boards if you think switching everyone's avatars as a joke is bad.

This is the only forum I'm on that actually stays on topic in every section but the General (which, obviously, has no particular topic). You should see what happens when you get anywhere from 50 to 1000 people on a forum where at least 3/4 of them do a LOT of drugs regularly.

I think you have to be in your early twenties or younger to understand or appreciate this Boxxy thing.

Call me a stick in the mud, or a buzz kill, or not a true fan. At this point, I wouldn't expect any less.

I must say that I do find this avatar thing to be annoying. I don't really know or care at all about boxy. I finally upload a picture for my avatar and find that it has been changed. If there is a joke behind this fine but maybe it should have been those that the joke was intended for that had the avatar change and no one else. I have used this site for many things with all my Ghostbuster items and have found it to be very helpful. I just hope that the avatars are changed back soon and this can go back to being a normal site.
