It's hard to have a feeling about it until we see more, but I think the title itself is fantastic.

SANCTUM of SLIME. Nice alliteration, with the provocative word "sanctum" leading us off. Implies the expected connection of the religious/supernatural, with just enough to phonically evoke "RECTUM", which is funny and wouldn't feel alltogether out of place up against "SLIME."

So it seems Rookie said, "Yes!" unlike Ray.

Other than that, will wait for more news.

I don't know....feels like you're waiting a sequel for a movie you loved...and they make it direct-to-dvd...a la "Inspector Gadget 2 "

this is going to be amazing, and it looks like this one has to have multiplayer on the PC.

I still want the first game to have multiplayer on PC, though.

I see one of the new rookies is named Oscar! Probably going to be Dana's Oscar.

Only if they're playing real loose with the timelines, or it takes place a loooong time after the first Video Game (since Oscar Wallance would only be 2 or 3 years old in 1991)

Well, the IGN article did mention set in 'modern times after the movies and video game.' Or the staff really wants to mess with fans by throwing that name out there.

I was just guessing, I missed the part in the article about timeline given for the new game. You guys are probably right just another guy named Oscar!

Yeah i can't wait for this it looks great there's gonna be loads of co-op plus the ECTO-3 looks like the one the "PEOPLE BUSTERS" used in flip side i like it

They should release more gameplay vids.

Two words would make this game for me: character. Designer.

thing about that is, I think the characters are selected Left 4 Dead style.

Hopefully they can Use The Original casts Voices At leats Some of them! Aslo mMake It More Like The 1st one!
Hopefully It will come out on the Wii and have up 2 4 players and each player can chose from 4 male characters or 4 female characters and a choice of a custom charcter! It should ALLOw You 2 be able 2 creat at least 4 custom charcters (male or female) that way they'll look more like us! A Ds version With the same options would Also Be REAL! NICE! maybe They will get Voices that sound as close as Possible to the real actors! And Improve Ecto-4

The official Sanctum of Slime website has started the giveaways. Someone won a TRU GBII box set last week. If that's the first giveaway out of the box, then I'll bet they have some good stuff ahead.

Look, I'm not knocking it looks kinda neat, but I was hoping for it to be like the first one as far as graphics, and gameplay. This doesn't seem as well designed and the sky view isn't my cup of tea. The best part of the first one was the feeling you were really there busting. Will still get it and all but I was really hoping they would do something like the first one. At the very least make some dlc so you could do the first one in co-op. We will see what happens.

I'm from the school of something is better than nothing, but the top down play really has me put off here. But I guess I'll take what I can get.

I do wish it was not strictly downloadable, but aside from that I will be waiting to get it. I loved the multiplayer from the last version, and I still remember playing Ghostbusters 2 on my NES as a kid and this one kinda brings back memories of that. As a GB fan we don't get alot of games and what not so having the last game and now this one which looks like it may have more replay value I am at least grateful to have something to play

I'd say up until the release of GB the video game, we would've eaten up anything they released GB related. Granted this game could be a far cry from its predecessor, I think it'll be a good game to play online.
