Janine certainly has an interesting hair/glasses ensemble goin on...I like it! lol

and my eyes went straight to Slimer. I don't think they could do a better job.

Yah know, I was watching RGB just the other day, and the equipment wasn't really blue, it was more black with blue highlights...

are these the actual figures we are going to get? if so Im going to have to repaint the pack and gun to be more screen accurate. plus I dont like the way the fact that the name tag (even unpainted) and kidney strap are still there. and they modified the slimer mold face but didnt give him a tail like in the cartoon - other then that they look good!

we'll have to wait and see on that

by Kidney strap, you mean the thinner strap going around their waist/stomache?

that was in the cartoons

Don't forget guys the packs were black during the first season. Which I prefer actually. All in all these are outstanding!

They. Look. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed.

The closest thing I have to a complaint is that I like Janine in the blue version of the outfit better, but there's always room for a variant later  No complaint from me about the use of the same mold for the proton pack and outfit--it's not such a big difference, and I've drawn them in movie packs for years anyway. I may even try to paint in the nametags--since we know from "Elementary, My Dear Winston" they're "really" there anyway.

I LOVE the Minimates. (I have eight sitting on my desk @ work. ) For being as small as they are, there is a LOT of detail. I'm already going to start getting cash for the RGB set too.

Only gripe... proton packs need to be blue, not black. But they look amazing.

Bare in mind these are the prototypes, I bet the final product won't feature the raised bit for the nametag, and will have more show-accurate Packs... look at Egon's Proton Gun compared to Ray's, it's blue and looks like a RGB Proton Gun.

Even as a little Minimate Blackie looks awesome. I always thought he was one of the more visually impressive opponents in the show, so him being an early winner of the Minimate treatment is a good move on thier part.

These exceeded my expectations, wow, I just love these!! Can’t wait. I love minimates!!! Too bad Mattel can’t take some notes.

They just need to change the color of the packs and then perfect!

It does, he has a RGB-inspired scale Gun, wish they'd posed it like Ray's so we could've gotten a better look at it.

Blackie is absolutely amazing, I have really good feelings about this series.

Hell, at this point, I'd love it if they did an Extreme Ghostbusters run.

Wow. Just wow. The Blackie figure is better than I could have imagined. And you can even "release him from the curse." AA - you've outdone yourself again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it looked like there was some brown on Egon's thrower. But I wasn't completely sure,. because like Ben said, they really didn't pose it in such a way as to show it off. Maybe they weren't quiet happy with it yet.

Some new news:

Justin Brushett

I just wanted to say I LOVE what you’ve done with the Ghostbusters Minimates line. And you are really good at answering the questions sent in. I was curious about a couple of things: 1. Did anyone ever think to make a Ray Parker Jr. minimate in the clothes he wore when he & the Ghostbusters were dancing together in his music video? Maybe as an SDCC promo or something like that. 2. With the new Real Ghostbusters line coming, will the uniforms and equipment be remolded for the Ghostbusters themselves. (for example the cartoons didn’t have nametags save for 1 episode and the equipment did look different than the movies) 3.More of a wish than a question: I really hope we get to see the Anti-Ghostbusters from “Citizen Ghost” and the PeopleBusters from “Flip Side”…though I know you can’t comment on future waves and boxsets… just throwin them out there Thanks again for your time. ~Justin

DSTChuck: Justin, that’s nice of you to say , I am sure there are lots of others out there that are not too fond of my answers.

I have not say we’ve never thought about that and I would think we would not have the rights to it but we’d have to ask Sony to be sure.

We’re going to use the same chest piece and packs but the proton wands are all new.

We’re going to try and show two series of RGB at Toy Fair, if we do that you will have a pretty good look into the future for the line.

I'm not bothered about the fact that they arent making new torso sculpts, but I do think they should've made new cartoon accurate proton packs. it probably wont stop me from collecting the line though.

Sweet. Between this and Mattel, the reveals at Toy Fair next weekend should be really exciting.

I'm not bothered by the same chest pieces either, and I like that they've redone the wand. A re-done pack would have been nice, but certainly not a deal-killer.

Google Checkout is not a type of payment. Its a payment processor.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and a few international cards.

I didn't know you could order directly from PREVIEWS.

well, ok, for those that don't have credit cards then...like myself.

and it would be for those that order through their local comic/hobby shop

I'm just trying to let people know, the people that CAN NOT order through GBFans, that they are available to preorder now with their local comic/hobby shops
