I could live without the torn-up-flightsuit-into-a-thong business.

Ordinarily I'm not a fan of the ripped-clothing bishoujo statues, but I actually like this one.

Does it make me a perv if I want one of those? I think I might try to add some glasses to her though, it doesn't really seem right without them (and yes I realize that she has Ecto-Goggles around her neck).

One of the first thoughts I had was "This would be even cooler if she had glasses and redder hair"

Great addition to a great series of figures. ... I just wish the pack and gun received the same attention to detail...

I will never understand these things.
To me, they just further the "nerd" stereotype about not being able to get girls.
Scantily clad, ripped clothing versions of superheros? Yea, definitely don't see the point.
"Ooooo, I can see her thong/butt/boobs! NERDGASM!"
Some random, non-existent "hot chick" who has a molded "fantastic body", and wears Ghostbusters stuff? I'm sorry, but this type of thing just reeks of "I'm so obsessed with Ghostbusters that I can't get a girl in real life, so I'll buy this sculpted hottie who wears Ghostbusters stuff! YAY!"

Bomias: Looks like they did, but if you're staring at the trap... you might want to rethink your priorities. lol
Venkman: I don't go for Japan-ey arty stuff, but this speaks to me. And I definitely do not fall into the "can't get a girl in real life" stereotype. Heck, most of the Ghostbusters I've met don't fall into that category. It's a piece of art, not a statement.

I didn't mean to say that I think I believe that stereotype, just that things like this further the stereotype. And I definitely disagree on this being "art". But then again, over the last 10 years or so, the meaning of the word "art" has definitely been skewed by everyone thinking art is about perception and that if you call something art, it instantly is. It creative, but this thing is not art, not in my mind at least.

I collect everything that is designed by Shunya Yamashita and I don't fall into the 'can't get a girl' stereotype. That mentality is quite frankly insulting and very close minded.
