Heya folks!!! Some of you guys remember me from last Acen. I am excited to be going back this year and would love to have us out in force!!!! The response from this last year was amazing while we were all out there. I want to have a big showing of us at the Anime CON. We already have our rooms booked and ready to go. My pack is upgraded and still awaiting a few minor details and I will have a sharp uniform for the event. Also, would be willing to buy or trade (Ohio Patch) for a Chicago buster patch to sport on my Uniform. lets get this started early folks!!

My husband is really wanting to wear our uniforms up there. I was planning on making it a Metal Gear weekend for me, but if he does enough convincing, I'll join him in flight suit and pack (which will be done by then).

Hey Hyperguyver2! This is the asian ghostbusters you met at Acen last year! Sorry it took so long for me to join '^_^ Well I was wondering if you still plan to do the mascarade cause I totally want to join! I absolutely want to grab the mic and tell the bleach people to stop doing our job! I might be able to convince zach (stripper vash) to let us do that! Oh I still have the ninja session pics from ACEN! They turned out awesome!

Hey its great to finally here from ya! "Who ya canna carrr!" sorry just had to, as far as I know I may have ran into a roadblock as far as acen this year goes since my transmission in my van just went out and my wifes car just got totaled, but if this year still ends up being a go for me hell ya I wouldnt mind getting ya on board although our friend Tyrant073 is mostly the one spearheading this one but hey the more the merrier after all there is star power in groups (as we learned last year). so hows you thrower doing I remember you telling me it got smashed did you ever get it replaced?

There is a pretty good chance I will be there, along with C2E2 and comicon in full gear representing GB:CD.

Hey Guys,

I was going to wait till the 1st or 2nd to post something.. but we might as well get the ball rolling now. First thing first, as Hyperguyver can tell you we were a hit. I didn't think Ghostbusters would go over well at an Anime convention. We were stopped every five feet for pics and people talking to us. We even had eight of us at one time walking in a group drawing attention! :) So I would like to arrange a meet up for all of us in gear who will be there.

This year should be better, My Pack, Unifrom has been updated and looks 10000% better than last year. Not to mention upgrades to my belt gear, Trap and Matty's PKE meter. Last I spoke with Guyver he was upgrading his pack as well. So we are sure to turn a few more heads looking sharp. We could even head down the street to TGIF geared out for lunch. That was great last year.

Secondly I was thinking about us doing the Masq. again this year. My only worry is (I have a friend who works on the staff) that we may not be able to do a skit or even just show off our costumes on stage cause we did it as a group last year. She thinks there may be a rule about doing the same thing twice in a row. Now.. on the off chance we can't all go up as a group on Sat... we could always take a ride into the City and walk around and get some reactions from the straights! :)

I want to try to get a list of us who will be there and in gear so we can work out a meet up, even if its only for a few hours. Also would like to hear from you guys who are going what you would like to do, or some ideas on what we could do if we are turned down for the Sat Costume Show. Let me know!!

You still have time to summit a panel I was, however, I think I be to busy doing another event to do it justice.

It will be easy to organize a gathering or photo-shoot after an event .

My friend you are right last year we were a major hit, photo requests started at about 9am friday and didn't end until close to closing on sunday it was awsome! Heck we even got a complimented by Vic Mignogna while waiting for our spot in the masq.

I have been working to build a new pack I already upgraded my belt gizmo (plan to do another one to make it accurate) and I'm debating on either sticking with the green suite or go for a tan one haven't decided yet.

The meet up is definatly a great idea because there is definate star power in numbers (tyran, neosaturn,DatGuy can also attest to this!) the only roadblock I'm facing this year is cost for the new props (jealous of those who actually got the matty PKE they were sold out before I could get one) and the loss of not just one but to cars in less than a month, so I have no clue if I will be able to attend this year, however when I know more you guys will surely know more. Also it would be a great idea to start posting on the acen boards and we can reserve a spot for a shoot (been doing this for the Kage-kanbu ninja for 5 years)

Will be at ACen, but have a table and will be trying to sell my stuff (I invite everyone to come check out my book, hopefully you'd find something in there you like)...so probably won't dress up during the hours of the con. But if you guys think there will be enough going on during non show times to make it worth it, I could bring my suit for some after hours fun.

I hope you have a great time, Matt. If I had the money I'd totally go with you, I could use some time away from Columbus. Lol

Only saw a couple Ghostbusters at ACen, One was at the table right across from me, but didn't get a chance to talk to him. Next year, I'd definitely taking/wearing my costume even if I'm stuck behind a table the whole time.

We saw very few GBs at ACEN. My husband (demon vice commander) was quite disappointed. He was hoping there'd be a lot of them. But for those we saw, hello again!

Sorry, but after LineCon '08 I've refused to go to ACen anymore. Standing for 9 hours just to miss every panel I wanted to see, not get a discount for admission, and being left with 15 minutes before the dealers' floor closed left a sour taste in my mouth.

not gunna lie 08 sucked big time I was in line for for almost 13 hours but I have 09 a chance and it turned out to be the best year for the con, new con-chair instituted some new process that eliminated the lines completly after 1 hour of opening. That gave me a little hope unfortunatly 10 kindda started in the opposite direction but only slightly, I have been attending since 05 and I always found ways to have fun regardless. I really wanted to go this year just to meet up with more people in the community and to re-unite with the crew from last year, for me thats what the cons are about. no scheduling problems have ever beaten me for that

I said the same thing in 2007 and gladly missed the even worse LineCon that was '08. I went back in 2009 and again this year. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be. The lines are actually short now, and they've finally figured out how to keep the Hyatt from becoming a mosh pit on Saturday night. The con is spread out over several hotels now, with the viewing rooms in the Doubletree and some events in the Embassy Suites. In nice weather like we had this year, it's pleasant, but I'm worried with it so early in the year next year that it will be cold and miserable.
