And now that I see it painted, there is definitely too much skin. I think they could have done without the ripped pants altogether.

But there is a high chance of me fapping to those pics later.

You really couldn't tell that without seeing a painted version? LOL. Its been clear the whole time.

Now not only does this thing already seem crappy for the reasons I already expressed, but now the colors are wrong and the pack looks like crap.

Glad I didn't jump on the bandwagon on this thing earlier, only to be disappointed now.

$80? Dear God, no way. I won't even pick this thing up when its on clearance for $20.

It would have been better if they put a no ghost logo on her uniform.
Or at least a little no ghost tattoo above her pink underwear strap. :)

Not really into anime chick statues, but I'll pick this up. Hopefully AJ carries it.

As much as I "playfully" goggled over this, I'm not really into anime'ish stuff... much less 60 buck borderline hentai GB stuff. I draw the line on my obsession to building props. Now if I got this as a xmas present... I'd keep it...

Then regift it.

The base is nice, but somehow I don't think that'll convince my wife. Guess I'll be diverting this funding into my first figure project instead. Still though, doesn't seem like much of a loss. I think I'd actually prefer the huge ratfink style wall art.

In case anyone is interested, E2046 is going to be making a resin kit version of the figure at around half the cost. Here's the link: http://www.e2046.com/product/13862

It's also got a nice set of pics showing a full view of the figure from various angles.

They also sell the PVC version here: http://www.e2046.com/product/13856

E2046 is a Hong Kong web based company that specializes in recast kits.
Since recasting is considered unethical here, odds are the link to them should be removed.

I browsed around there after following the link, and ended up ordering a 1/4 scale Bayonetta kit that Teamhair was interested in. After the order was completed, paid for, and shipped, I found out it wasn't an original kit, but is in fact a high quality recast version instead.

They claim to only do kits that are out of production, but obviously in the case of "Lucy" that is not completely true.

I was honestly thinking about buying it and customizing the hell out of it. if nothing, it's a great base to work with.

@Gareee: Oops, sorry about that. I didn't realize it was looked on as unethical. I knew they did recasts, but since almost of the figures they recast are fan-made, and you can pretty much only get the originals at cons in Japan anyway, I never thought much of it. But I guess I'd think differently about it if I saw someone recasting a Terminator or Alien liscenced kit or something, so I can understand.

I'll remove the link.... once I figure out how.

The mods would have to do it. While I'm always looking for a bargain, I try to suport artists whenever I can, since thats also my trade.

Imagine if they got ahold of one of the Vigo statues Vince had made up, and produced it for half his selling price.

That's funny. Because the officially licensed version costs less: http://www.gbfans.com/shop/pre-orders/b ... ya-statue/

Yeah I noticed that as well.. they posted the retail price much higher, and then discounted it back to more than the actual retail is everywhere else. I'd never seen the Bayonetta anywhere, so I'm happy I got that for Marci, and I'll check out thier forums for build tips, but I'm no real fan of recasts at all.
