Ive bought tons of stuff from him before knowing that he used images without permission. But I gotta say, price aint bad. It's nice to be able to get all the little stuff that makes a proton pack look like a proton pack, especially if its from the same person. One of my orders, I had ordered multiple items, so he just put all of it into one box and refunded me the money. That's classy right there.

And I have ordered his ecto goggles, not screen accurate but I was impressed.

I would advise people not to buy from this guy. Picked up a ion arm metal detail and he drilled the hole in the wrong spot for the wire and just filled it in with hot glue.

Also grabbed one of his traps and pedals. The pedal can be saved but the trap looks like a dog and has to be completely replaced. Waste of money on my part.

I know I havent been posting for very long, but I bought the ecto goggles from him. They are FAIRLY accurate, but by no means 100%. I just liked the light scheme he had, and I kind of wanted something different anyway. It seems as though he has some good, accurate pack parts however.

As with any seller, there are going to be problems here and there, especially since he seems to make a lot of the parts himself, or so I understand. Overall, I would say he was pleasant to deal with and I was satisfied.

As far as him not being a member of the community, it is what it is. That's a personal decision for you all to make on whether to buy from him or not based off of him having a screen name here. I can understand not being willing to buy from someone not from here, though.

shock mount and dixie cup holder turned up way before xmas. Very fast shipping. Only downside was i ordered 2 items from him which came in the same box but the shipping was not combined so i had to paying the shipping prices for both items as i had to purchase them seperatley off ebay. Also he has not left any feed back for any of the items i purchased off him.

I've purchased prop parts from him twice and have been quite pleased with the product and service. sbonse, if I may ask a question: did you request a combined invoice before sending your payment? No criticism, just curious about your experience with him!

Do not buy from Zombie Amusements...he is a recaster!

I have been selling on Ebay for years, even before my MMM website and for the longest time I was one of the few sellers of GB parts on Ebay. Along came Zombie amusements and started selling items to compete with me, fair enough, thats just business and honest competition is fine. Even though his main mode of operation was to undercut and claim to have the lowest prices on Ebay or GBfans.com

I had bought some light kits for the gun and for a slime blower and noticed he was plugging his website on Ebay (big no-no) so I had a look, to my surprise I saw what looked like my gun grips being sold, i then had a look back in my records and discovered I had sold him grips in 2009 as well as some other items. I usually instantly recognize my work as most others do so I ordered a set from him (used my MMM address and Paypal acc.) and waited for them to arrive. A few weeks passed and they arrived today. As soon as I opened the box I immediately knew they were recasted MMM grips...without a doubt.

Here are pictures prooving that
MMM grip in white on the top
Image

He tried to cover up the MMM engraved in the back side by grinding it out
Image
Image

There is an elongated groove on my grips and his recast matches all the features exactly on mine

Image

He then tried to dremmel the grooves to alter their appearance, really sloppy too
Image

So there you have it, I'm 100% convinced. You be the judge

ImageImageImage

Has anyone else purchased grips from Zombie Amusements? If so I'd like to see them for comparison

Colin
MMM

What a scumbag! Well, that answers the long running question of why he doesn't sell on GBFans. I'm sorry to hear that Colin :(

I actually ordered some parts off of him recently "before reading all of this" I will say this his work seems very rushed/sloppy and I ended up buying a gb 1 ribbon cable off of him and it seriously has to be the smallest gb ribbon cable in the world I would totally stay away from his cables.

Wow Colin, sorry to hear that!

Your photos are pretty convincing to me though. It definitely looks like he half-assedly tried to disguise your grips as something else.

How terrible. That totally sucks that someone is profiting from the work that you did. All your stuff matches up to his..or rather, all his stuff matches up to yours. Lets keep an eye out, next thing we know hell be selling your guns

That's a damn shame. I really liked this guy's metal parts, but now I have to wonder where he's getting them, not that I'd buy from him again. I had my eye on his gun kit too....not so much.

Hello, I was asked to post some pictures of the Zombie_Amusements GB1 Ribbon cable I purchased to show how small it is compared to a normal sized ribbon cable so you can see for yourself. Image Image

I confronted him about the recasting and he basically denied it, I have asked him for photos of his masters which he claims are all made from machined aluminum..we will see what he comes back with if anything. To top it off he also plagiarized his "terms and conditions" from McMaster-Carr's website and used it on his website but made one mistake and left McMaster -Carr in one spot where he forgot to put Zombie Amusements :sigh:

Awesome. He should have just used iTunes terms and conditions.
