You are basing that theory on ONE auction that has a photo with 6 of them. Based on that you are assuming EVERYONE who ordered 6 got their order. If that were true, there would be a LOT more auctions on eBay with Buy It Now Quantity > 1.

You also don't know how those people got their Stay Pufts.. for all you know they could have gone to SDCC and bought them.

I got mine with no issues. The boxes from China seemed to be big enough to hold 2 of the Stay Pufts, so maybe they shipped first?

AJ man It is not just one auction there are a few auctions on there with multiple buys on it. Go through the first two that is 10 pieces alone.As for SDCC people did not all get theirs either because Mattycollector was short there as well.

Everyone who pre-ordered one was able to pick theirs up at SDCC.

They did not sell any extras at SDCC. You had to pre-order.

The seams on My Staypuft really "seam" to stick out a lot more in person. is there anyway to get rid of these?

Re: Mattel's Stay Puft fiasco..why am I reminded of that line from Star Wars that goes: "Fear. Fear will keep them in line." I have officially begun worrying about ghost trap day(Like it wasn't already working my nerves).

Anybody try to cancel their order?
I'm not too keen on doing business with a company that treats their customers this way. (although I will cave for the ghost trap)

Yeah right there with ya..the trap will be a fitting end to my Matty collecting..it's just not fun or personally rewarding to me.

Yes, they probably should have responded sooner, no doubt. But relax.

So, I call them to ask for my order to be cancelled, they said no and then emailed me a tracking number within a couple hours of my cancellation request.

Seems they either have secret stock for revenuie loss prevention, or the e-mail saying they would ship Friday is inaccurate.

I just checked my email and Stay Puft FINALLY Shipped!!!

Just got my shipping conformation on stay puft as well cant wait till he arrives next week!!!!!!

I guess they finally got their stock in since they're shipping a lot now. They can start making people happy again!

I do hope that Matty is able to see and learn from problems in this sale and are ready for the onslaught of the ghost traps sale. Especially if they are able to release it before Halloween.

I am far from an expert...but girlwonder was the one that announced the Stay Puft en route on Matty's forums...but man would I like a trap $$ announcement so all I have to guess at is shipping cost..(sigh)

They said $130 for the trap.

Finally received my shipping info too. BUT... I'm thinking I'll be receiving my RTBY Egon first. No biggie.

Mine supposedly shipped the other day when I got the email, but when I click on the tracking, it shows nothing. I'm guessing they only made the label. Wtf? LoL I usually get my packages in a day or so because I'm in CA. So my Q is, has anyone recent got theirs after Wednesdays email went out?

Holy crap! Matty, digital river, or whoever really screwed this up. I checked my tracking on the big guy today and this is what is says (keep in mind I live in Northern Ca.!)
