I began turning a pair of Goggle Lenses tonight and I have one 90% finished. I must thank John (Namebrand) and Jason (Jpa35) for the help with these. I have to turn the shorter lense this weekend if i get some time. Please feel free to leave comments...unless you are named Namebrand!
This is what I had started with....

And after a few short hours, this is what I came up with...

Those look AMAZING! I'm restoring mine and looking at your pics gives me inspiration. Keep up the good work.

If you retire from the GB prop building hobby you can use them as candlestick holders. Well done Jimbo. Those will look great on a set of frames.

I have the lenses just about complete. I just have to make the thumbscrews and small block that sits on the lense. Let me know what you guys think. Advice welcome!!

Ok, I have a small update. As I wait for frames, I went ahead and made the thumbscrews. I still need to finish up my thrower, PKE electronics, and trap haha. So progress has been slow jumping between all my projects.

I love these... I like that you included real 'glass' at the tips, so they look functional. What did you use for those?
