I live in Florence, though, so I'm glad the Huntsville TRU is moving to Madison, i.e. slightly closer to me! Sigh... I got mad at the Florence TRU a few years ago and boycotted them because they were being greedy corporate robots over a matter of three cents, even though they had ripped me off for $2.01 the week before. Little did I know how much I was keeping them afloat, apparently, because when I stopped giving them my business, they folded and closed within three months. But, as to my reactions to this set... WOW. I have been holding off on collecting these Retro Action figures because I missed the SDCC green variant of Venkman, but that Samhain alone might make me begin a collection. Love him, his face looks awesome. Alex

I was going to ask what the Firehouse interior behind the doors looked like, but I needn't bother now as I've just worked out that the graphics they've used to make that Firehouse (with some modifications) are the ones Time Life used on the Real Ghostbusters DVD box set.

The box art shows her with the kneepads, so no matter what the episode showed, they got one of the two wrong.

Anyone ever wonder why the figures are using the movie style proton pack instead of the cartoon style? That little detail kinda throws me off.

So happy that they made a Janine but why didn't they make her with the white or hot pink jumpsuit? The orange is hideous.

I believe it's because the orange came first in "Janine's Genie" followed by the white in "Mr Sandman, Dream me a Dream", then Peter's Brown in "Janine Melnutz, Ghostbuster." I'm just greatful Mattel didn't cut another corner and use the brown. It would have been correct as well.
If you want it to be accurate, you can roll up her sleeves and put the knee pads on the knees. That's how her uniform was worn in the episode.

Well, "Mister Sandman" actually came first, but remember that wasn't a "real" uniform--it was only worn by her "dream self". It was the "Mister Sandman" suit that had the knee pads, not the "Janine's Genie" suit, as Kingpin points out. Proof: http://www.gbfans.com/image.php?url=htt ... 559333.jpgAdmittedly, my favorite look for her was one that was only in one issue of the Now Comic, so I'm not surprised it wasn't used (it was Egon's color with orange on the collar and cuffs). I'm just thankful they didn't stick her in the vomitously sexist pink suit from most of the series.

My bad Fritz, "Mr. Sandman" DID come first. Good call mate! However, Janine WAS wearing knee pads through the episode. Some animators must have gotten lazy... -Thanks to the Ghostbusters Wiki for the images

Honestly, I thought I remember the kneepads too, but I checked AJ's screencaps and went "Huh. I guess I was wrong and Ben was right. It's right there in the screencaps." I guess I out thought myself again.
