What if......just WHAT IF by some chance when we go to see the re-release of Ghostbusters this week their is a Surprise waiting for us just before the movie starts? A Surprise that is none other then A Teaser Announcement with a GB3 Logo!!! lol would you all shit your pants if that happened? :-P

I would be seriously surprised to see that kind of a media push begin with that.....

Just wouldnt get the word out to that many and you would have internet leaks already about the filming. Dan wouldnt be doing so much Skull Vodka signings and such.

and this, but mostly the part about dan aykroyd doing vodka signings still. with such a big mouth there's no way he wouldnt spill the beans about this being that final step before gb3. in a world where we know all the costumes of the new superman movie, batman's slap fight with bane, and leaks of the avengers movie, this is completely an impossibility.

there's just no way this movie can happen.

Are you not paying attention? my point is that in this day and age an official Announcement or Trailer for a movie usually comes about after the fan base already knows about it. a.k.a, no element of surprise. Did I really need to explain that to you?

the movie being on the big screen three times this month on an inconvenient day, at an inconvenient time, is not a teaser, or a trailer, or a build up for anything.

stop looking more into things than what they are. enjoy them for what they are and call it an afternoon. or three evenings. whatever.

no YOU aren't paying attention...see how the word ever is in bold there? it uses a code with a b in brackets...anyway Kevin's point is that it's NOT "in this day and age" movies have always had advance notice and hype before the trailer was released. Star Wars, Citizen Kane, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times, any of the Marx Brothers stuff.....all of it. Film has been around for a long time. The news, longer. And advance notice of films in development literally goes back to the dawn of film itself.

This is not an internet phenomenon, this is how its always been.

Still IF they blow that kinda money to make it I hope they make at least a token effort at a quality product. If not, well Redbox only charges a buck.....

I kinda feel the same way about GB3,my biggest fear is that Ghostbusters 3 will have to much toilet humor in it instead of the original type of humor that the franchise is known for.

If any preview could be tacked on who knows? they may decide to release GB II this Holiday season or in the spring. I'm not holding my breath mind you. I would just find that a little more plausable than a GB 3 teaser.
