Great News! Does the pedal "ribbon cable" look strong enough to support the pedal with breaking, or should that be reinforced as well?

It supports but its super stiff i really want to replace it with some real cable, the main problem with it is that its a plastic cast so you kind of have to bend and stretch it a bit to get it over the handle, i took the base apart for the peddle and it seems like a easy fix to replace the cable and clamps.

I just tracked mine and it left at 1:30am on 10/20 from Ontario, California just to arrive 12 hrs later in Sparks, Nevada. Wtf. I live in Anaheim, Ontario is just like 40 mins away from me. Doesn't make sense. Could of had mine by now.

I was kind of surprised they actually cast a cable and reproduced it. It might have been cheaper to just use real cable.

There's probably going to be a run on those cable connectors now.

I think I'll get started on one of these! Thanks for the demo! What are your plate's measurements? I'm going to get the plate done tonight, and install it tomorrow just before our gig. Two hour drive starting immediately after the UPS guy arrives.

Don't quote me as the gospel, but from reading my tracking info, I *THINK* Sparks is the warehouse where the traps were housed, or its the logistics companys main site for processing, because I ran the tracking and USPS said its in 2nd party hands at the moment, so I'm guessing they are the ones that handle warehouse to sorting facility and then USPS will take it the rest of the way.

That or Sparks NV is just where all mail sorts before being processed further for Ontario.

Anyone who has a Matty Trap please let me know if your able to turn it on with the mode switch in the up position. Mine won't, it will only turn on while on the bottom mode. Also, the cables to connect the pedal to the trap are kind of hard to get them to work. My pedal won't light up sometimes. I think I got bad :/

Try twisting your cable 90 degrees. Did you use fresh batteries?

It can be hard to get prop mode to activate properly.
