Ordered four 6" figures. My first haul...now I am stressing about whether to keep them in boxes or not.

I am really surprised they are adjusting their prices... I mean, do they have to? If I bought a shirt today and if I find it on a sale some days later with 50% off I won't go there asking for a price adjustment. How come Matty's doing that?

I think that is pretty normal...a lot of places have a 30day price match and such. I am surprised they are doing it as you assume a level of risk in waiting.

Retail stores do partial refunds for sale items all the time, it's very common. Stop overpaying for your shirts. :P

The reason it's surprising to me is that they don't have any price matching listed on the website. It's great they're giving out the adjustments though.

lol

This is very interesting, sounds like a cultural difference. I never heard of this on this side of the atlantic (at least on my southwestern european country) - it's accepted as part of the game to risk waiting and finding it later either at half price or sold out.

the 60% sale was for halloween only apparently, all prices are back to their original costs, $20 for 6" figures, $60 for 12" figures. hope everyone was able to take advantage of it during that short time.

the trap is amazing and love SB Ray despite all the little complaints. First white mailer I have gotten that had a problem, the sides were all crushed....I'm only slightly irked because I just use them to store them...

Here you go naysayers, on the website http://www.actionfigureinsider.com in their recent Q and A, Mattel sets the record straight on the future of the line!

Q1. Now that Ghostbusters seems to be coming to a close with the announcement of the subscription being scuttled for 2012, are there any plans to make Terror Dogs or a weapons pack? Obviously rare variants are quickly moving off the table, but to me, and I think a lot of the other core Ghostbusters enthusiasts, not having Gozer and the terror dogs is a little like the issues everyone was having with the uncompleted teams in the dcuc line.

A1.The line is 100% NOT coming to a close. We did need to cut back from 6 to 4 figures for 2012 but there is a big future for the brand.

hmmm... let's keep our fingers crossed!

I really hope the brand continues, and honestly by them only releasing the 4 figures a year, they are really extending the line for a few years, as 2 years worth of figures now becomes 3. I am sure the people over on the matty forums are going to find something to bitch about for 10+ pages though with the announcement.

if it means seeing Tony Scoleri, Courtroom Ray, Courtroom Egon, Gozer, Janine, Janosz, and 2 Terror Dogs (would be great for them, they would have to sculpt 2 heads but only 1 body) then I'm all for seeing 4 figures a year for 1-3 more years.

I didn't realize Matty had a forum. The parallels of being a GB fan and harmonica player are staggering. People complain that they don't get enough attention withing a niche of a niche, lol. Granted, there is definitely some shady stuff going on, but I am continually amazed at the amount of GB stuff out there considering the original movie is closing in on 30yrs old.

Considering the fact any business is about the bottomline, 1-3 more years of these figures is super cool.

As long as Dana gets released and we hopefully get a Janine and a Gozer, I'm good!.....I'd go crazy if we got a janosz, but I dunno...then again we got a Peck, so yea...give us a Janosz!

Trap arrived today here in the UK, no customs charges to pay as far as I can tell, which is a result!

Works perfectly, although the pedal feels a little flimsy and seems smaller than I imagined it would be. Already I am looking to make some changes to the unit, a better quality speaker for starters and possibly some brighter LEDs in the trap body so when the doors open you get a proper lightshow!

Worth the cost and wait, shame it didn't arrive in time for Halloween but there is always next year...

Anyone else still not received their orders? I haven't got my order placed on October 17, or October 31.

I am in Ontario, Canada but usually it never takes this long.

got my package today - I opened all 4 boxes (viewtopic.php?f=90&t=28044) and my labcoat Ray has neither the pixie head nor the original Ray head, it's like a combo of the 2, very weird... like an unsquished pixie head. either way Im happy and will be doing a swap w/ a pixie head and give this one to my nephew since I took back my custom one. sorry about the terrible cell phone pictures...
