The fans have spoken! And the winner of the Halloween Costume Contest is Gary Tabar Jr from North Carolina! Gary made an awesome Lifesized Samhain Costume to have for Halloween. The costume was carved out of foam, and detailed with paints. Definitely worth getting over 800+ votes! Gary will be recieving a MattyCollector Ghost Trap, and a Gold Supporting Membership. He says he will be using the extra trap to give to a friend who will was unable to purchase one during the sale last month. 2nd Place was Elias Arce with 400+ votes, and Amaya with 300+ votes! They will also get Supporting Memberships! Congratulations to everyone who entered and thanks to those who voted!

Gotta say, Gary's the one I'd have voted for if it wasn't for that sexy thing in the lacy stocking-tops! Congratulations to all the winners, and of course to azmyth for spectacularly winning the coveted 'F*cked with his own cock' Award

I'd like to congratulate Garee, but he already has like nineteen ghost traps, and his costume didn't involve any children, so... not cool, man.

Actually, I had small children under the outfit, one each strapped to each leg. But if memory serves, I think i needed to also include all races and religions, but I figured I could get away with just the two under there.
We are actually building an entire wall of matty traps, so all in all its just a
nother... brick in the wall.

Congrats on the epic Samhain, I'm one of the few nerds who are following him on fb. If that's what it takes to win, then I'll leave the kids to the side next year and start working on the Boogyman costume tomorrow.

Only thing is this time of year the weather is iffy.. some days the high is only 40 degrees, adn mornings are already down to 27, far too cold to work outdoors on anything in. I may have a fighting chance, it was 77 here today.... I do have 2 kids, but I'll make do.. Worst case scenario, I can always be the Sandman.

I think I want to actually do another version of Samhain's head, with more sculpted in detail. I rush the sculpt early on because we needed it for an event, and once I sealed it with the hard coat, going back to resculpt the foam became problematic.
I could add easily, but not carve back into the sculpt. I'm always very critical of my work, and when I;m done with something, all I usually see are the flaws and improvements I could have made.
I also know more now how to work the insulation foam better as well.

Hey Steve, If you have two kids then you can have the cool costume and kids in the pic. Put them in PJ's just like the pic and have them looked scared and it should seal you a win! Cute kids and cool costume! Overall though I do want to congratulate the all the winners and thank all of the contestants who entered. There were a few amazing costumes out there and a ton of support for the franchise. You see things like this and you know that Ghostbusters is definitely still alive and kicking it!

Cute kids and cool costume! Didn't think of that.... They wouldn't have to look scared though it would be sincere. I showed my 7yr old the cartoon episode and she had to sleep with the lights on for a night or two.
