Super glue will not hold it. You need to cut a block of wood that fits inside the arm and bolt this to your shell. Then slip the arm over the top and use an apoxy glue to hold it. Then use wood screws through the arm itself into the wood inside. If you counter sink the screws then you can putty over the heads and sand smooth before paint.

UPDATE...
I'm replacing the Beam Line & Filler Tube, the ones i did have were too thin and even tho im using a Vacuum Shell i want to do the rest of it as good as i can. also i want to be able to remove the parts and put them on a fibreglass shell next year ;)

so below you see the cap ends bolted to the shell, then the tubes simply 'push' onto them, and trust me...they wont fall off. they are on tight! the more i can bolt or screw on the more i can use on my next pack.

i havent got the 30mm tube yet but sometime over the weekend the new tubes will be added.

The clear parts are pretty cool. I know you aren't intending on leaving them clear, but they are definitely different looking, and actually pretty neat! Keep up the good work!

Thanks LT

My N-Filter arrived today, it was a little too snug due to my vacuum shell...
Image

so i had to cut and file to make it fit...

afterwards... Fits like a glove ;)

onwards and upwards...

what did you use for the cosmetic plating around the cyclotron?

I've recently picked up this SC shell myself and I'm working on my first pack build.
