Hey guys. I've got a new project on Kickstarter. You may remember last year when we had our other CNC Project on Kickstarter. This is pretty much a follow up to that project. We have developed these amazing injection molded plastic parts that can be assembled (with other parts) to create an amazing CNC machine.

The basic parts are only $150, with the electronics package adding to the cost. If you are interested in a CNC Machine consider this to be a down payment toward a completed CNC machine. I will be offering kits for the rest of the parts after the Kickstarter project is over on March 31st.

Now.. If you aren't interested in getting a CNC, consider pledging a lesser amount. I absolutely need as much help as possible to spread the word about this project. But moreso than that, I need support from a large number of people. If say 100 people on GBFans could chip in $1... it would mean a lot more than 1 person paying $100. This project will only be successful if the word can get out and many people can get involved. The more people the more likely it is to get noticed by tech blogs and be featured on the front page of Kickstarter!

Please note that no matter what amount, your credit card will not be charged until March 31st.

So if you chip in a dollar, you can cancel that dollar up until March 31st. After that you will be charged. Same goes for if you chip in $10, $25 or more. You won't be charged until the end. So pledging now for the $500 level would be very helpful.. you won't be charged until March 31st.. so you can change your mind up until that time.

Note that this isn't for charity or anything like that. It is a speicific project with a specific goal. If you chip in $10 or more you will recieve something in return for your contribution. Specifically the $25 level will be a very cool item.

Come on guys! Everyone just throw in a buck! If I end up pissing you off before March 31st, you can withdraw it!

I think its more about the number of people pledging and less about the amount. In fact I'd almost be willing to give everyone a dollar to pledge a dollar!

I still need a lot of people to show their support. Having a larger number of supporters is much more important than having a large amount of money from backers. (Though its nice too). I would REALLY love to see a bunch more Ghostbusters Fans just chipping in $1 to the project. It means a lot!
