I have decided to offer these Leg Hose fobs to compliment my key fob run as several people have asked me if I have any left.

These will begin shipping at the same time as my keyfobs and the price has not changed!

Please don't PM me about these, make a post below, it makes it easier to keep track of things!

In the above photo all I have done is pushed the hose on to the end of the acrylic. It holds TIGHT (using the GBFans leg hose). So much so I had to cut it off to show it attached the 2nd (preferred) way of attaching the hose:



In this photo I removed the acrylic plug from the split ring, pushed it right inside the leg hose (had to use a little washing up liquid as it's a tight fit) then I took a hot needle and pierced the hose where the ring passes through the plug. I used the hot needle to prevent tearing of the hose and it makes a neater hole. Then I just passed the ring back through the plug AND the hose and BOOM, all done!

So... what do you think? I may make the plug a little shorter (probably by about 25% as it's unnecessarily long in the prototype) but it will be long enough that you can wear it either way.

Remember this was made to suit the GBFans leg hose and the diameter of the plug is 10mm

I know this is a long shot but any chance you could make these using webbing for GB2 belts? They'd have to be tall enough to accommodate the 3" height of the belt, just FYI.

Um... yeah I don't see why not... assuming I can find a supplier of the webbing and there's enough interest to warrant buying it?

Would they still need to be ¾" Wide or are the GB2 fobs wider?

I don't personally have a preference on width, 3/4", black sounds fine to me.

Oh and btw Rich, I've just ordered 5m of seatbelt webbing for my new GB2 belt and Slime Blower strap. I should have some left over if you want, unless you're using different webbing.

This was just a "special" for Vince (because he asked) and Mark.

I think the fobs on the GREY GB2 suit were different but the same for the "standard" flight suit!

Sorry to cause a ruckus.

In the Birthday scene in GB2 they wore khaki suits with the classic belts/fobs. This uniform has a leg hose.

In the grey suits they wear the black web belts with web fobs. No leg hose.

In the battle with Vigo they wore khaki but with the black web belts/fobs (and rappelling harnesses too ) yes to the leg hose.

I personally only wear the black belt regardless of which color uniform I'm in. It'd be nice to be able to have a webbed fob that I can swap depending on what color suit I wear.

Thanks for clearing that up man! Like I said... I'll knock up a prototype, I'll make sure it fits a 3" wide belt and I'll post some pics then you can decide if you want them. (No pressure!)

In that case, I'll have a regular one. I'll be using it with GB2 khaki. I only wear the black belt with the darker uniform.
