These are replicas of the fiberglass throwers used on the GB2 "semi-hero" packs. These packs were moulded with many of the detail parts included in order to reduce weight and aid ease of build. If you are replicating a semi-hero pack then this is the kit for you, If you are replicating a "hero" pack then youll need a aluminium thrower (or if on a budget a resin kit such as my current kit). Thanks. Of course thanks to you skully... Ok, I think I will take care about the backpack first, and then decide which kit is useful for me... Thanks again...

I think that clinches it Nick. Is the Booster Tube with plug included in the shell purchase? I ask as I have one of MMM's and definitely would want to replicate the hollow Booster Tube look from the first film.
Do you recommend any particular Mother Board to purchase for your shell?
Beautiful work, as always.

Thanks guys! Ben, these shells will be based on the GB2 semi-heros. This means the booster tube will be moulded in and part of the shell. The undercut and plug will be filled in to replicate the onscreen packs. I chose a semi-hero shell to aid ease of build and to make a nice accompaniment to my fiberglass semi-hero throwers. My shell wont fit any motherboards on the market so ill be having some made up and sold just with my shell.

Im still thinking if I should mould the ion arm in or keep it seperate. Just think keeping it seperate will make moulding and shipping easier but then it wont be a true semi-hero. It's a hard decision, ill get back to you
