Ive tried to put new insoles in my boots but they sont fit very well, and they bunch up at the toe. Does anyone knkw how to get them in there other than taking them to a shoe repair shop. I was thinking double sided tape but i think it woild just bunch up and not lay flat in the first plac.

Maybe that grippy stuff people lay out on the bottom of their kitchen cabinets? That might work.
Or velcro?

I wound up at a pool hall last night for a friend's birthday and stayed out until midnight or so. Today, I'm sporting:
A hangover A sunburn Sore back, butt, feet, shoulders, and legs and a lost voice
... All worth it.

All my thanks to you guys: Johnny for giving me a place to crash the night before, Fernando and Lee for giving me an unforgettable story the night before, Kevin for putting this thing together, and God for giving me the impulse to request the day after off from work months in advance! It was great to meet some new people and hopefully I made some new friends! This was an experience that I will never forget and I hope I can be there for the next event!
PS: Matt, I hope you're feeling better!

What a blast, so damn sore. Its hard keeping up with you 20 somethings. Highlights for me were obviously the Lee and Frenando, backwoods story, Making Jon and Fernando hand over thier beerpong legends shirts to the new champs. Meeting GBcory, Sam, GBFan, and a few others I am forgetting. whipping giant marshmellows at annoying drunks and walking the end of the parade with a constantly refilled by the crowd solo cup. And Matt thanks for keeping me safe by taking my keys.

You could really feel the difference in energy with being so much closer to the front.

I'm just glad we didn't have to wait as long to get moving. You have no idea how much further back we all were in 2011- I'm super thankful they got us closer to the front of it all.

FossilizedArt wrote: Ok, dare I ask. What's this cool story with Nando and Lee? you have to ask them, hearing it from anyone but them would be a great injustice to how incredible this story is! All i'll say is that it happened the night before, and at the parade those of us who weren't there could see they were still "shook up" ......

It involves backwoods New Hampshire, a stolen golf cart, artillery fireworks, a shotgun, a lost wallet, and a couple of pretty lucky drunks.

I'm so glad I crushed my hands in the garage door so I didn't have to "steal" a golf cart to race into the woods and set off fireworks or be met with the chance to run for my life and listen to Lee cry for his life as he got shot at.

I had a lot of fun doing this. It was great meeting you guys, even if I never got to introduce myself to some people. It was a great first even and I can't wait to do more. Also, here's the picture from American Made Heroes
