Hey guys, first things first.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who has put up with my questions, and to all who offered me advice and opinions. I wouldn't be in the process of making my first proton pack if it weren't for this awesome community, so thank you all!

This is my first pack build, I'm very excited, I hope to tackle some of the work with my buddy Socko525 and do some building along side him as he works on his packs and we work towards getting our group off the ground. Any feedback is appreciated.
Here's where I'm at so far:

My Bigi330 Shell from Vincenzo330:

I just threw my new aluminum parts because I was so excited. All aluminum parts are from cpu64 and and I think they are beautiful. I also grabbed a screen cast bumper from Venky. Nothing is bolted down yet. Also have a very nice bellows I got from Filandrius. Ion rod and cable clamps are from Colin at MMM. Thanks for these parts guys! ;-)
How does it's look so far?

That's all for now.
More to come soon :-)

You can say that again! It was definitely worth every penny to go the extra mile and pick up his aluminum parts, they are beautiful. I completely understand why people don't want to paint these things. :-D

Is it heavier to add alumnium parts as opposed to resin. I have a mixture of resin and metal going on in mine and it's like deadlifting everytime I pick it up and it's not even 50 % built

Aluminum parts tend to run a bit lighter. At least in my experience so far. My aluminum gunbox is about 1/3 of the weight of my resin MMM gun kit

I guess that depends on the part, but from my personal experience, I found that the aluminum seems to feel lighter than most of their resin counter parts. I would assume that is because the aluminum is hollow and alot of resin parts are cast solid. You can't go wrong with aluminum in my opinion. Looks great and is very authentic.

A few years ago when I started collecting and building I decided to try and keep the cost down, after the years rolled by I opted to include metal parts in certain areas and even replaced resin parts with metal. I kinda feel the metal parts are lighter than the resin parts though.

Looking forward to see the progress on this build! I think we have most of the same parts, so it will be interesting to watch.

Not much, but an update nonetheless :-)
Got an aluminum booster tube and plug from Vin and a booster frame from Wiz. Both are b-e-autiful! :-D

Next week I will hopefully have some updates including painting and actually attaching. Stay tuned. ;-)
